The single is the first release off her new album, Any Day Is A Good Day, and is produced by Nashville-based producer Paul Compton. The song was co-written by Hayes, Bill DiLuigi and JP Williams.

Country Artist Amber Hayes Releases New Album, Any Day Is A Good Day

Country Artist Amber Hayes Releases New Album, Any Day Is A Good Day

(Nashville, Tenn. – Oct. 24, 2012)  Any Day Is A Good Day, the anticipated sophomore release from Country artist Amber Hayes, is now available via iTunes, GMVNashville.com and AmberHayesMusic.com.

Any Day Is A Good Day is the follow-up album to Hayes’ 2010 debut EP, C’mon, which spawned two Top 40 singles on the national MusicRow CountryBreakout Chart.  The new seven-song collection, released through GMV Nashville/AOK Entertainment, features three songs co-written by Hayes: the spirited “Me and Loretta,” “Far Far Away” and the inspirational title track, “Any Day Is A Good Day.”

“I was really excited when we finished writing ‘Any Day Is A Good Day,’ because it has such a positive, encouraging message,” says Hayes.  “The reaction when I perform it at my shows has been great, and I’ve gotten a lot of really touching comments from people about how this song has brought hope or inspiration to them in some way.  I like to think of it as a reminder that each day is a gift and not to take it for granted.  It seemed only fitting to name the album after this song.”

Any Day Is A Good Day was produced by Nashville-based producer Paul Compton and reflects Hayes’ maturity as an artist and as a songwriter.  Since releasing her C’mon EP in 2010, Hayes has toured the U.S. with former label mate Ty Herndon and traveled internationally in support of her music.  Among her overseas dates have been shows in China, Japan, Sweden and Diego Garcia military base in the Indian Ocean, among others.

Hayes has seen her music make the jump to both television and film in 2012.  Three of her songs (including a duet with Lonestar’s Richie McDonald) appeared in the family film, “Cowgirls N’ Angels,” which ran in theaters this summer.  The movie also marked Hayes’ acting debut in a major motion picture, though the singer has extensive theater experience.  Hayes got her break in Nashville following her portrayal of Kathy Twitty in the 2008 musical, Conway Twitty: The Man, The Music, The Legend… The Musical.    “Cowgirls N’ Angels” is currently available in stores on DVD.

The CW television series “Hart of Dixie” also tapped Hayes for her songs in 2012, placing music in five of the show’s Season 1 episodes.  Her 2010 single, “C’mon,” and her follow-up 2011 single, “Wait,” are among the four songs featured in the series this fall.

Country Artist Amber Hayes Records Theme Song For Oklahoma High School Football Games

Country Artist Amber Hayes Records Theme Song For Oklahoma High School Football Games

“Friday Night Fight” selected as official high school football song for Cox cable broadcasts

(Nashville, Tenn. – Sept. 26, 2011) FUNL Music Country artist Amber Hayes has recorded “Friday Night Fight” to be used as the official theme song for all televised Cox cable high school football games in Oklahoma.

A native of tiny Weleetka, Okla., Hayes co-wrote “Friday Night Fight” with Angela Sullivan and guitarist Bill DiLuigi and appears in the video segments that introduce the televised games each week. The music video was shot during a high school game in Moore, Okla. To view the “Friday Night Fight” video, check the Cox website here for local television air times or to hear the song, please visit www.AmberHayesMusic.com.

“Growing up in Oklahoma and being a cheerleader in high school, I understand exactly how important football is in these communities and across the whole state,” says Hayes, who currently lives in Nashville. “I still remember the excitement and the adrenaline rush you’d get being out there on the field, so when I got the opportunity to write and record this song, I didn’t think twice about it. I’m really proud to be associated with this Thursday and Friday night tradition in the great state where I grew up.”

Since June, Hayes has been performing shows around the country with FUNL label mate Ty Herndon and visiting radio stations in support of her current single, “Wait.” The song is steadily moving up the charts and jumped two spots this week to No. 45 on the Billboard Indicator chart. “Wait” follows Hayes’ 2010 debut single, “C’mon,” which was a Top 40 success on the Music Row CountryBreakout chart.

In May, the rising star made her first movie appearance in the rodeo-themed family film “Cowgirls N’ Angels.” Starring James Cromwell (“Babe,” “L.A. Confidential”), Bailee Madison (“Just Go With It,” “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark,” “Bridge to Terabithia”), Jackson Rathbone (“Twilight,” “New Moon”) and Frankie Faison (“The Silence of the Lambs,” “Meet the Browns”), Hayes plays a supporting role as a honky tonk singer in the Timothy Armstrong-directed film. Hayes’ original songs, “C’mon” and “Right as Rain,” as well as one new unreleased track, are featured prominently in the movie. “Cowgirls N’ Angels” was shot in several cities across Oklahoma, including Stillwater, Guthrie, Pawnee and Oklahoma City and is scheduled for a 2012 release.

On Oct. 6, Hayes will perform at the Hard Rock Café in Nashville for the Forget-Me-Not Alzheimer’s benefit, and later that month she travels to Japan and China for additional shows, including the Country Gold Festival. Hayes remains busy writing and recording new material in Nashville for her sophomore album, to be released in 2012.

Amber Hayes Learns Magic Beer Trick During WBYT Visit in South Bend

(Nashville, Tenn. – Sept. 1, 2011) A Country music artist has to be prepared for all kinds of interesting things while visiting stations on a national radio tour.  FUNL Music recording artist Amber Hayes learned the always useful “pour a can of beer from your forehead” trick last week while visiting WBYT in South Bend, Ind.

In preparing for Hayes’ visit to their station, the WBYT staff discovered the first song that Amber ever learned was “I’m A Little Teapot.”  In tribute, the clever staffers recruited the owner of a local Irish pub to pose as a WBYT DJ and impress the Oklahoma native with his unique “talent.”  Watch the act and vocal accompaniment from Hayes here.

Hayes’ current single, “Wait” jumped to No. 44 on the Billboard Country Indicator chart this week.  She has been touring with label mate Ty Herndon this summer and is putting the finishing touches on a batch of new songs for her upcoming 2012 release.  Hayes also appears in next year’s “Cowgirls N’ Angels” motion picture with James Cromwell, Bailee Madison and ex-Lonestar front man Richie McDonald.
