News Brief: BigRide Entertainment artist Marlee Scott will perform the national anthem at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship college football game on Saturday, Dec. 3, in Charlotte, N.C.  Scott will sing the anthem in front of a sold out crowd of approximately 72,000 fans at Bank of America Stadium.  Clemson and Virginia Tech are the 2011 ACC Championship participants.  Kick off is 8 p.m. ET.  Dierks Bentley and David Nail are also set to appear as part of the ACC FanFest presented by AT&T.

Scott currently has a Christmas single out at Country radio titled “Someday At Christmas.”  She is releasing her new single “Trainwreck,” in January 2012.   In recent weeks, Scott has appeared at the Breeders’ Cup World Championships to sing the national anthem and was chosen as a celebrity host for the Kentucky Derby Prelude Party in Nashville. BigRide Entertainment artist Marlee Scott appeared as an honorary host at Nashville’s Kentucky Derby Prelude Party, held Monday, Nov. 7, at Nashville event space aVenue. Presented by BMI, Cigna, York Sisters and Buffalo Trace, the festivities featured appearances by a host of celebrities, including Rob Bironas, Eddie George, Laura Bell Bundy, Steve Holy, Danielle Peck and others.  Scott sang “My Old Kentucky Home” for a packed house of sponsors, artists, musicians, sports figures and more.  All proceeds from the event benefit Blessings in a Backpack.

News Brief: BigRide Entertainment artist Marlee Scott will perform the national anthem as part of this weekend’s Opening Ceremonies at the 2011 Breeders’ Cup World Championships.  Scott is scheduled to sing the anthem at 12:55pm EDT on Saturday, Nov. 5, at historic Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.  The U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team will appear in conjunction with the performance.  The 2011 Breeders’ Cup World Championships air exclusively on ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN 3 in more than 30 countries around the world.  Visit www.BCWC11.com or www.MarleeScott.com for more information.
