Marlee Scott to Perform National Anthem at 2011 ACC Championship College Football Game


News Brief: BigRide Entertainment artist Marlee Scott will perform the national anthem at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship college football game on Saturday, Dec. 3, in Charlotte, N.C.  Scott will sing the anthem in front of a sold out crowd of approximately 72,000 fans at Bank of America Stadium.  Clemson and Virginia Tech are the 2011 ACC Championship participants.  Kick off is 8 p.m. ET.  Dierks Bentley and David Nail are also set to appear as part of the ACC FanFest presented by AT&T.

Scott currently has a Christmas single out at Country radio titled “Someday At Christmas.”  She is releasing her new single “Trainwreck,” in January 2012.   In recent weeks, Scott has appeared at the Breeders’ Cup World Championships to sing the national anthem and was chosen as a celebrity host for the Kentucky Derby Prelude Party in Nashville. Her latest “Make It or Bake It” cooking webisode (view it here) featured a football-themed recipe for banana bread.

BigRide Entertainment’s Marlee Scott Signs Booking Agreement with Paradigm Agency


(Nashville, Tenn. – Nov. 18, 2011) BigRide Entertainment recording artist Marlee Scott has signed an exclusive booking agreement with international talent firm, Paradigm Agency.  Scott released her debut U.S. single in 2011, “Beautiful Maybe,” and is putting the finishing touches on her full-length album debut for release in early 2012.  She currently has a Christmas single out at Country radio titled “Someday At Christmas.”  In recent weeks, Scott has appeared at the Breeders’ Cup World Championships to sing the national anthem and was chosen as a celebrity host for the Kentucky Derby Prelude Party in Nashville.  A native of Ontario, Canada, Scott was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the 2010 Canadian Country Music Awards.  Visit www.MarleeScott.com for more information.

Country Artist Marlee Scott Hosts, Performs at Prestigious Horse Racing Events


(Nashville, Tenn. – Nov. 11, 2011)  BigRide Entertainment artist and former equestrian rider Marlee Scott made a pair of special guest appearances over the past week in conjunction with two of the country’s most prominent horse racing events.  On Saturday, Nov. 5, Scott sang the national anthem during the Opening Ceremonies at the 2011 Breeders Cup World Championships at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.  Members of the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachuted to the ground during her performance.

 

On Monday, Nov. 7, Scott served as an honorary host at the Kentucky Derby Prelude Party, held at downtown Nashville event space aVenue.  Scott performed an a capella version of “My Old Kentucky Home” as part of the evening’s festivities, which helped raised money for the Blessings In A Backpack program.  Celebrities on hand included Rob Bironas, Laura Bell Bundy, Eddie George, Steve Holy, Danielle Peck and numerous other artists, musicians, athletes and music industry professionals.

The Canadian-born singer and current Nashville resident became an accomplished equestrian rider as a teenager in Ontario.  Scott retired from competitive riding to pursue her Country music career full-time in 2007.

Marlee Scott to Perform National Anthem at 2011 Breeders’ Cup Opening Ceremonies


News Brief: BigRide Entertainment artist Marlee Scott will perform the national anthem as part of this weekend’s Opening Ceremonies at the 2011 Breeders’ Cup World Championships.  Scott is scheduled to sing the anthem at 12:55pm EDT on Saturday, Nov. 5, at historic Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.  The U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team will appear in conjunction with the performance.  The 2011 Breeders’ Cup World Championships air exclusively on ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN 3 in more than 30 countries around the world.  Visit www.BCWC11.com or www.MarleeScott.com for more information.
