New Downcast Release Explores Country Music’s Dance Club Culture With Single From Newcomer Artist Rachele Lynae

(Nashville, Tenn. – April 30, 2012) Video news release service DownCast has released a new campaign this week that explores the emerging career of Country artist Rachele Lynae and the resurging dance club phenomenon in Country music.

The video news release (view it here) focuses on Lynae’s new single, “Party ‘Til The Cows Come Home” and its impact within the Country dance club scene.  Up-tempo, dance-oriented singles or remix versions made especially for the clubs are becoming an important element of many newcomers’ careers.  Artists including Luke Bryan, Laura Bell Bundy, Jake Owen and Gloriana are just a few of the acts that have benefited from the support of the dance club community in recent years.

Nashville-based Marco Club Connection specializes in promoting Country acts and their dance singles to Country dance venues across the U.S.

“This song is a perfect vehicle to introduce Rachele into the Country dance club scene,” says Bobbe Morhiser, Marco Club Connection’s Manager/Venue Marketing.  “Early testing by club DJs has been very positive, with many outlets adding the single right out of the box.  Normally it might take several weeks after a song is released to radio before they add a song to their playlist.  Many venue DJs work at local radio stations, and club spins can often translate into airplay on those stations and websites.”

Nashvillechoreography.com’s Kevin Andrews created a custom line dance for Lynae’s “Party ‘Til The Cows Come Home.”

“This line dance was custom tailored with Rachele’s dance abilities in mind,” says Andrews.  “I have been teaching it to people between ages five and eighty-five, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.”

CMT and CMA award-winning director Trey Fanjoy directed the “Party ‘Til The Cows Come Home” video, which includes cameo appearances from several dancing cows.  Country artist Jamie O’Neal produced the track and co-wrote the single with Stephanie Bentley, Jimmy Murphy and Lynae.  The DownCast VNR footage was shot and developed by Nashville-based television production company Travis Television.

Hot Schatz PR’s Schatzi Hageman is handling publicity duties for Rachele Lynae and the The Momentum Music Group label.

AristoMedia Group Continues Run of Successful DownCast® Campaigns with Recent Taylor Swift, Nashville Rising Projects

(Nashville, TN – Aug. 26, 2010)  Nashville-based marketing and promotions firm, The AristoMedia Group, is continuing its run of successful DownCast campaigns with recent projects from superstar Taylor Swift and the nationally televised flood benefit concert, Nashville Rising.

A video content distribution service created jointly by The AristoMedia Group and Travis Television Productions, DownCast is a media delivery platform that provides high-quality entertainment news content to online, print, radio and television-based media outlets.  Since 2009, DownCast has distributed new release campaigns for a number of Country music artists, including Jamey Johnson, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Sugarland, Josh Turner and others.  In recent months, the service has distributed exclusive content for Taylor Swift’s single, “Mine,” and behind-the-scenes footage from the nationally televised Nashville Rising benefit concert and fundraising event held in Nashville.

“The beauty of the DownCast service is that media outlets get free access to a set of downloadable, high-quality files that can be used as-is for broadcast television use, streaming purposes, or any number of different formats,” says AristoMedia President Jeff Walker.  “We’re just now starting to see the uses DownCast has beyond music industry applications, as well.  It’s exciting when you consider the possibilities out there.”

The AristoMedia Group and Travis Television Productions launched the DownCast service in July 2009 as a comprehensive tool to distribute free, broadcast-quality video content, audio clips and press materials to thousands of media outlets around the world.  The system allows outlets on-demand access to the files on a secure, password-protected server.  The DownCast service expanded its capabilities in 2010 to include distribution of promotional materials for print media, such as author Andy Andrews’ best-selling release, “The Heart Mender.”

DownCast® Video Content Distribution Service Expands to Include Book Releases

New York Times best-selling author Andy Andrews discusses “The Heart Mender” in latest DownCast campaign

(Nashville, TN – April 19, 2010)  DownCast, the video content distribution service created jointly by The AristoMedia Group and Travis Television Productions, has expanded its platform to deliver promotional materials for book releases, in addition to music and entertainment projects.

After executing successful new release campaigns for Country music artists including Brad Paisley, George Strait, Sugarland, Josh Turner and others, the DownCast service now includes distribution capabilities for print media, such as New York Times best-selling author Andy Andrews’ latest release, “The Heart Mender.”  Andrews launched a series of novels in conjunction with the DownCast service last year, including best-sellers “The Noticer” and “Mastering the Seven Decisions That Determine Personal Success.”  View a streaming version of the Andy Andrews “The Heart Mender” clip here: http://downcastserver.com/campaigns/viewAndy.php.

“We first discovered the value of DownCast last year, when Andy released four books over the course of one four-month period,” says Andrews’ manager, Robert Smith.  “Based on the success of those releases, when it came time to release ‘The Heart Mender,’ we knew a key component to promoting this book would be to get high-quality materials in the hands of as many media outlets as possible, and the DownCast service certainly makes that job a lot easier.”

“Once we saw how effective the distribution reach of the DownCast service was, we realized that there was no reason to limit it to just music releases,” says Travis Television Productions President Greg Travis.  “Our recent relationship with best-selling author Andy Andrews really opened the door to some new opportunities, and obviously, print media is one of them.  And, with Country artists now putting out books, whether it’s children’s books, cookbooks or whatever, I think the crossover potential with DownCast is the perfect way to really maximize exposure for those kinds of projects, too.”

Adds AristoMedia President Jeff Walker, “The beauty of this service is that the outlets get free access to a set of downloadable, high-quality files that can be used as-is for broadcast television use, streaming purposes, or any number of different formats.  We’re just now starting to see the uses DownCast has beyond music industry applications, and it’s exciting when you consider the possibilities.”

An extensive list of radio, television, national and regional video programs, newspapers, trade publications, celebrity and entertainment shows, wire services, closed-circuit partners, global outlets and online destinations receive the customized DownCast campaigns.  After logging in to the DownCast server, outlets can choose to download files in a variety of high-quality formats for broadcasting, streaming or editorial use.
