(Nashville, Tenn. – August 28, 2018) – Full-service business management and financial planning firm, Farris, Self & Moore (FSM) has announced several staff elevations and redefined positions within the company. Founding partners, Kella Farris, Stephanie Mundy Self and Catherine Moore describe the firm in four words, “Authentic, Boutique, All-In and Innovative,” which perfectly defines the family-like firm who specializes in everything from accounting and business management to financial planning services for touring artists and hit songwriters.
In 2015, Farris (2018 Auburn University’s Top Tiger award recipient, which recognizes the fastest-growing companies founded by Auburn University alumni), Self (2018 UGA’s Terry College of Business, Outstanding Young Alumni Award- winner) and Moore (named 2018 Nashville Business Journal’s, “Women in Music City”) founded FSM and in just over 3 years, they have not only grown their exclusive clientele but have also hired ten additional staffers.

Hollister Whaling and Amanda Mitchell, who have both been in business management for 7 years, have been elevated to Junior Business Manager from their prior position of Client Manager. Whaling, who is from Houston, TX, graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Economics and a certificate in Music Business. While at UGA, Whaling interned at New West Records in Athens, GA and American Songwriter Magazine in Nashville, TN. After graduating, she moved to Nashville to work in entertainment business management. Amanda Mitchell is originally from Troutdale, VA and graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She previously interned with Universal Music Group and the Country Music Association. After working for the Grand Ole Opry and The Roanoke Civic Center, in event management, she found her niche in business management.
Tim Lane has been promoted to Client Manager from Client Bookkeeper. The Philadelphia, PA-native graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in English and a certificate in Music Business and started at FSM in 2016 as Office Administrator.
Brittney Schoessel joined the company in 2017 as Client Manager and brings 5 years of experience in business management. The Clarksville, TN-native graduated from Middle TN State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Matt Najdowski was recently hired as a Royalty Manager to perform royalty desktop audits and assist in catalog valuations. Najdowski is from Roswell, Georgia graduated from UGA in 2013 with bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Certificate in Music Business. He previously worked at Sony/ATV Publishing.
Hannah Haggerty and Clementina (“Tina”) Banjo have been promoted to Senior Client Bookkeepers from Client Bookkeepers. Haggerty is from Albany, NY and graduated from Belmont University in 2017 with her B.B.A. in Accounting and Music Business. Clementina is from Atlanta, GA and graduated from The University of Georgia in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a certificate in Music Business.
Taylor Baird and Gator Pizer were promoted toClient Bookkeepers from Office Administrators. Baird is from Ringgold, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Management and a certificate in Music Business. Pizer is from Tualatin, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. He is a 2018 graduate of Belmont University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Accounting and Music Business.
Sarah Grissom was just hired as Office Administrator. Grissom is from Louisville, KY and graduated in 2018 from UGA with a Bachelors Degree in Financial Planning.
