Set to perform songs off his new album, Trials & Tribulations
(Nashville, Tenn. – May 10, 2017) – Southern California’s country rocker Mark Mackay is scheduled to appear and perform songs off his new album, Trials & Tribulations, at Lucky Strike Live in Los Angeles this Thursday, May 11.
Recorded in Los Angeles with producer, Phil Dixon and mixed by Christian James Hand, Trials & Tribulations was released on May 1 and is an eight-track collection written solely by Mackay. The project represents his songwriting and authentic sound that sits at the crossroads of country and rock-and-roll. CMChatreferred to Mackay as one “with guitar riffs reminiscent of Tom Petty.”
Tina Michelle and the Rhinestone Cowboys and Bleeding Harp will also be performing in celebration of MacKay’s release.
Currently on tour with Joe Nichols and Jackie Lee, Mackay has headlined numerous clubs and festivals. He’s also had the opportunity to open for country stars like Frankie Ballard, Eli Young Band, Cole Swindell, Tracy Lawrence and Old Dominion, plus legendary rockers The Marshall Tucker Band, 38 Special, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) and Orianthi. This past year, Mackay played 230 shows in which Music Connectionrecognized him as one of the Top 100 National Live Acts. For an extended list of tour dates, click here.
