Curb Records’ Larry Gordon and Pop Artist Aprilann on Roster
(Nashville, Tenn. — December 5, 2016) — Former head of Belmont University’s Mike Curb Music Business Program, Pam Browne, partners with DME Delivers/DME Sports President, Mike Panaggio, to launch new marketing/management company, DME Entertainment Group.
Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, DME Entertainment Group combines the collective expertise of Browne and Panaggio in music, marketing, sports and entertainment for the purpose of creating unique opportunities for their clients. Their client roster includes Curb Records’ Larry Gordon and indie pop artist, Aprilann.
Forthcoming plans for the company include an independent label, a music publishing division, and film production.
“My peers often told me I was one of the few native Nashvillians in the music industry. I’ve come full circle since adopting Daytona Beach as home base. I’m looking forward to seeing old friends, establishing new Nashville relationships, and reconnecting with many of my Belmont students who are now in the industry themselves,” said Browne.
In addition to Mike Curb Music Business Program, Browne practiced as an entertainment attorney, was certified as an NFL agent for 10 years, started a music publishing/production company and was the artist manager of the multi-platinum group Tag Team whose single, “Whoomp There It Is,” was voted by Billboard Magazine as one of the top songs of its decade. Browne also serves as Executive Director of the Curb Institute at Bethune-Cookman University where she mentors students seeking careers in music business, sports and entertainment.
Mike Panaggio founded DME Delivers, a full-service, direct marketing agency, over 20 years ago. As President of the DME umbrella, he developed DME Sports, a major player in sports marketing and a highly sought-after sports academy for basketball, soccer and football players across the globe.
