As Co-Owner and President of The AristoMedia Group, Christy Walker oversees one of Nashville’s most dynamic public relations and strategic marketing agencies. A third-generation member of a storied Music Row family, she has been instrumental in the success of more than 350 campaigns and events across country music and global entertainment.
As Co-Owner and President of The AristoMedia Group, Christy Walker oversees one of Nashville’s most dynamic and comprehensive public relations and strategic marketing agencies. Founded in 1980 by her father, Jeff Walker, The AristoMedia Group has a legacy spanning over four decades and serves as a cornerstone of Nashville’s entertainment industry. The company is comprised of six specialized divisions: AristoPR (press and publicity), AristoVideo (video promotion), AristoDigital (digital marketing), Marco Club Connection (dance club marketing), Marco Promotions (secondary radio promotion), and Walker-Watkins & Associates (international consulting). It is also home to international entertainment brands Nashville Meets London and Country Goes Global, further solidifying its role as a leader in global music outreach.
As one of Music Row’s most prominent publicists (profiled in Music Row Magazine) and event producers, Walker has been instrumental in the success of over 350 campaigns and events. Her impressive portfolio includes campaigns and activations for renowned organizations and artists such as Country Radio Broadcasters, Country Radio Seminar, Billy Ray Cyrus, Cavalia (Odysseo), Charlie Daniels, eight Cirque du Soleil productions (Songblazers, AXEL, Alegria, CORTEO, Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour, OVO, Saltimbanco, TORUK — The First Flight, and Varekai), the Nashville Symphony, Electronic Arts/EA Games, Enchant presented by Hallmark, Elevation Beaver Creek, Live In The Vineyard, Live In The Vineyard Goes Country, the boutique film/TV convention RomaDrama, Grammy award-winning blues artist Keb’ Mo’, the Red Clay Strays, Tracy Lawrence, Travis Tritt, Ty Herndon, Whiskey Myers, and many more.
Walker comes from a family deeply entrenched in the music industry. Her grandfather, Bill Walker, was a celebrated arranger and composer known for Eddy Arnold’s iconic hit “Make The World Go Away.” Profiled in the New York Times, he served as music director for the CMA Awards, The Johnny Cash Show (ABC), The Statler Brothers Show (TNN), and many others. Her late father, Jeff Walker, founded The AristoMedia Group and served on the boards of the ACM, CMA, CRS, and NARAS, shaping the trajectory of country music on a global scale.
Christy’s passion for the industry began early, fueled by her family’s legacy and her own experiences as a competitive drummer — the first female in her school’s drumline, paving the way for others in male-dominated spaces. After earning a degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Belmont University, she joined The AristoMedia Group in 2003. Beginning part-time as a receptionist, she ascended through the company to her current role, modernizing its operations, expanding its digital footprint, and growing its international presence.
In 2015, AristoMedia founder Jeff Walker — Christy’s father, mentor, and friend — unexpectedly passed away. Deeply motivated to carry on the business and preserve her father’s legacy, she remains committed to supporting the import and export of international artists. In 2016, she co-founded Nashville Meets London, a festival bridging Nashville’s musical heritage with international audiences; its inaugural event drew thousands to London’s Canary Wharf and has since grown into a globally recognized brand with a monthly London residency and collaborations including the Royal Albert Hall. She later launched Country Goes Global, an import event spotlighting country artists from around the world performing in Music City.

A Nashville-based music publicist with over seven years of experience, Taylor supports press and client coordination for events including Country Radio Seminar, Country Radio Hall of Fame, Live In The Vineyard, Elevation, Cirque du Soleil’s Songblazers, and the Concert for Love & Acceptance. Before joining AristoMedia, she served as Tour Publicist at All Eyes Media, supporting campaigns for Jason Isbell, Widespread Panic, and Daniel Donato.

Liza joined AristoMedia from MusicRow Magazine, where she served as both Project Manager and Subscription Manager/Writer, contributing to editorial content and managing day-to-day operations. A graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.A. in English and a minor in communication studies, she previously worked with Anderson Benson (now Gallagher), supporting the firm’s Entertainment Specialty Practice.

Julianna joined AristoMedia after earning her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Samford University and a master's degree in Advertising & Public Relations from The University of Alabama. Throughout her time with AristoMedia, she has supported publicity campaigns for artists including The Red Clay Strays, Ty Herndon, Nashvillains, The Lacs, and more. Her work includes developing media angles, pitching stories to journalists, and supporting strategic publicity campaigns that generate meaningful media exposure.
For more than four decades, The AristoMedia Group has been built on a simple belief: great stories deserve to be heard.
The Walker family’s roots in the music industry run deep. Christy’s grandfather, Bill Walker, was one of the most respected musical arrangers, conductors, and producers in Nashville history. An Australian-born musician who trained at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Walker became one of the architects of the Nashville Sound, crafting arrangements for legendary artists including Johnny Cash, Eddy Arnold, George Jones, Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton, and countless others. He served as musical director for ABC’s The Johnny Cash Show, conducted orchestras for numerous CMA Awards broadcasts, and helped shape some of country music’s most iconic recordings. His influence on Music City earned him recognition as one of the most prominent musical arrangers in Nashville history.
Inspired by that legacy, Jeff Walker brought his own entrepreneurial vision to Music Row when he founded The AristoMedia Group in 1980. Under his leadership, Aristo grew from a boutique publicity company into one of Nashville’s most respected independent entertainment marketing firms. A pioneer in video promotion and an early advocate for emerging media platforms, Jeff helped shape the way country music was marketed to audiences around the world. His work contributed to the success of artists including Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Charlie Daniels, and Jo Dee Messina, while his passion for international outreach helped expand country music’s global footprint.
Christy Walker joined Aristo in 2003, working alongside her father and gaining hands-on experience across publicity, promotion, artist relations, and business operations. For more than a decade, she helped support the company’s growth while building her own industry relationships and expertise. Following Jeff Walker’s unexpected passing in 2015, Christy stepped into a leadership role and has since guided the company into its next chapter.
Today, Christy serves as President and Co-Owner of The AristoMedia Group, leading the company’s vision and day-to-day operations while continuing the relationship-driven approach that has defined Aristo for more than 40 years. Alongside Co-Owner Terri Walker, she remains committed to the values established by the generations before her—helping artists, brands, events, and organizations connect with audiences around the world through strategic storytelling, trusted relationships, and innovative marketing solutions.
