(Nashville, Tenn. – April 27, 2016) – The individuals that will serve on the 2016-2017 Country Radio Seminar Agenda Committee have been announced. Ten new members will join twelve returning members to plan agenda items and events surrounding Country Radio Seminar 2017.
New members added to the 2016-2017 CRS Agenda Committee are: Kristina Carlyle (iHeart Media), Andrew Curran (DMR Interactive), Steve Hodges (Sony Music), Scott Lindy (Cumulus Media), Billy McKim (Texas A&M), Zack Massey (iHeart Media), Eric Michaels (Emmis), Kris Rochester (United Stations), Terry Phillips (CBS) and Kristen Williams (Warner Music Nashville).
Returning to the committee are: Lee Adams (Broken Bow Records), Sam Alex (Townsquare Media), Jay Cruze (WSCG), Timothy Gerst (ThinkSwell), Carolyn Gilbert (NuVoodoo Media), Ed Green (Red Light Management), Jeff James (Signet Interactive), Bruce Logan (CBS Radio Houston), Stew Sawyers (Sawyers Media Group), Jenny Sheilds (Premiere Radio), JR Schumann (Sirius/XM) and Brook Stephens (KZPK).
The CRS Agenda Committee is comprised of volunteer professionals from all areas of the Country radio and record industries. The committee is responsible for planning events for the upcoming year’s Country Radio Seminar. Heading up this year’s agenda committee are Tom Hanrahan (WDXB/iHeart) as Chariman and Greg Frey (Cumulus Media) and Judy Lakin (Cox Media Group) as Co-Vice Chairman.
“Tom, Greg, and Judy did an outstanding job with the big challenge of leading the 2016 Agenda Committee and the content of CRS 2016 clearly was one of the BEST in our 47 years of service to the industry,” said Executive Director, Bill Mayne. “The board was unanimous in welcoming the trio to their leadership roles once again!”
Hanrahan adds, “I am beyond excited about this year’s CRS Agenda Committee! We have a group of rock stars returning who have demonstrated their commitment to our industry and we’re adding a stellar group of fresh faces who will add further diversity of thought as we craft the learning tracks for an even more successful CRS in 2017.”
