Americana Travel Series “Bronco Roads” Wins a 2013 Lone Star Emmy® Award

(Dallas, Texas – Nov. 25, 2013) – Syndicated television series, “Bronco Roads,” was recently honored with the 2013 Lone Star Emmy® Award in the Magazine Program Series category at the 11th Annual Lone Star Emmy Awards, which took place in San Antonio, TX.

The regionally syndicated television series that explores life in the west was up against 3 other nominees in the category. This was the first nomination for the series and the first regional Emmy.

“’Bronco Roads’ has been a labor of love,” said “Bronco Roads” host, Stacy Dean Campbell. “Having the series and our team recognized is a real honor. We feel even more inspired to get back on the road.”

As part of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Lone Star Chapter is known for their highest standard of excellence in the television broadcasting industry and are the gatekeepers of the highly coveted regional Emmy Awards in Texas. The Lone Star Emmy represents the most experienced and talented television professionals from all disciplines of the industry and from all of the nineteen television markets throughout the state.

“Bronco Roads” is hosted by singer-songwriter, filmmaker and author Stacy Dean Campbell. The show follows his travels across the American West in his vintage 1974 Ford Bronco, visiting unique and historical destinations along the way.
