About Jon Wolfe: The best introduction to Jon Wolfe is the basic yet not so simple fact that he’s a Country singer and songwriter who’s Country to the core. With an array of influences including George Strait, Clint Black, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and Merle Haggard, the Oklahoma native turned Texan has been burning up the Texas Charts where he garnered six consecutive Top 10 singles (“Let A Country Boy Love You,” “That Girl In Texas,” “I Don’t Dance,” “It All Happened In A Honky Tonk,” “The Only Time You Call” and “What Are You Doin’ Right Now”). Wolfe has opened for some of the platform’s biggest stars and has played more than 400 shows in the past four years. A storyteller at heart, Wolfe’s traditional Country sound has led him from his small hometown of Miami, Okla. to the dancehalls and honky-tonks of Texas, and now to Music Row. Wolfe’s 2010 release, It All Happened in a Honky Tonk, classified him as a “must see” act in the Texas music scene. The album became such a regional success that it was re-released as a Deluxe Edition in 2013 by Warner Music Nashville and debuted at No. 34 on theBillboard Album Chart and has sold 25,000 units collectively. Wolfe’s much-anticipated album, Natural Man, is now available for download. The new album combines Wolfe’s classic Country sound with an edgy, modern energy. Leadoff single, “Smile On Mine,” is now at Country radio and is available for download on iTunes, Amazon and other digital retailers. Wolfe has also announced his Natural Man Album Release Tour in support of the album, which will take Wolfe across Texas and into Oklahoma.
