Q: Where is your hometown? And why did you decide to come to Nashville?
I’m actually from Nashville, born and raised. I stayed in the area to attend college at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) for their Recording Industry program.
Q: What is one interesting fact about you?
I have attached earlobes!
Q: What is your favorite Nashville eatery?
For someone who is from here, I’ve been to an embarrassingly low number of Nashville restaurants. I must say, though, that I really like The Pharmacy. The black bean burger is awesome! Also, I’ve recently gone to Monelle’s for the first time and I loved it— ten out of ten.
Q: What is your favorite music venue? (Anywhere)
I really like the new Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville. I recently went to a show there and dubbed it my new favorite venue. Music is just always better when it’s outside.
Q: If you could only pick one, what would be your all-time favorite song?
I think my answer to this always changes because it is such a tough question, but I guess I’ll say “Blue Orchid” by The White Stripes.
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
I like to read when I have the time; I’ll usually go in and out of reading sprees. I also like to do yoga sometimes; I want to get into the habit of doing it every day. I also love sleeping because it’s heavenly.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Nashville on the weekend?
I like to go to Opry Mills Mall every once in a while, as well as try out some of those restaurants I’ve never been to. In the warmer months, I like to take walks through different parks, like Percy Warner or Centennial.
Q: If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Telekinesis.
Q: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I’m about to graduate Cum Laude from MTSU, so that will probably be #1. I would also consider being able to intern at AristoMedia a great achievement.
Q: What is something interesting that is on your bucket list?
I want to see a show at Red Rocks in Colorado and I really want to see Criss Angel in person.
Q: What is one type of food that you could not live without?
All vegetables. I’m a vegetarian, so I wouldn’t have very good meal options without them.
Q: What actor would you want to play you in the movie of your life? Why?
Either Jennifer Lawrence or Ellen Page. They are both a little quirky, but still relatable. They also have a very wide range of acting skills, which is cool.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
London, England
Q: How would your friends describe you?
They usually use words like quiet, weird, silly and nice. I’ve been compared to Phoebe from “Friends” and Tonks from “Harry Potter.” Both of these made me a happy camper!
Q: What TV or movie series are you obsessed with right now?
“American Horror Story.” I’ve been watching it since the beginning, so I get really excited when a new season starts!
Q: What did you ‘want to be when you grew up’ as a kid?
I wanted to be either a veterinarian or a marine biologist. I always wanted to work with animals until I saw a live dog surgery on TV one time.
Q: If time or money weren’t an issue, what would you be doing right now?
Traveling the world with my best friends!
Q: What are the top 5 albums that have shaped your life?
Continuum – John Mayer
Elephant – The White Stripes
Lungs – Florence + the Machine
Fallen – Evanescence
American Idiot – Green Day
Q: An “important” piece of music you just don’t get:
I never “got” Mariah Carey or Madonna. I can’t stand either of them. I never could.
Q: A television show you can’t miss, but hate to admit you watch:
I don’t really have a show that I hate to admit I watch. Although, when I talk about “Grey’s Anatomy,” people act like I should. No shame!
Q: If you could spend the day with any person (living or deceased), who would it be?
Florence Welch. I love her!
Q: What is your life goal?
I recently came across this quote, “I just want to have a completely adventurous, passionate, weird life.” That’s basically my life goal.
Q: What is your favorite joke?
I can never think of, or remember, any good jokes! The only one I ever remember is: What do you call a cow lying on the floor? Ground beef.
Daily necessities in your desk drawer, pocket, or purse:
As long as I have the basics – phone, keys, wallet – then I’m good, but if I use a purse then I’ll have to have my phone charger, face powder, Chapstick, Advil and a snack in there.
Favorite thing in your office:
I don’t have my own office, but the one I’m currently in has a plug-in heater, which is my favorite thing in here on this particular day.
Take a photo of your favorite coffee mug and explain:
This is my favorite mug. I only have four mugs, but I just got this one from the dollar section at Target. It’s my favorite because it has a sweater and it’s just so cute!
