Set To Air This Friday, Jan. 8
(Nashville, Tenn. – Jan. 6, 2016) – Three-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Keb’ Mo’, recently performed at a special concert, hosted by President and Mrs. Obama, called “A Celebration of American Creativity: In Performance at the White House.” The concert is set to air this Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 on PBS. Specific air times are available through local listings.
Shot and filmed in the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C., the concert featured appearances by Keb’ Mo’, Smokey Robinson, James Taylor, Buddy Guy, Queen Latifah, Usher, Trombone Shorty, MC Lyte, Audra McDonald, Esperanza Spalding, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Carol Burnett. The event commemorated the 50th anniversary of Lyndon Johnson’s National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act.
