(Nashville, Tenn. – Jan. 8, 2020) – Country artist, Kaylee Rutland has released the official music video for her catchy new single, “Kiss Me Like You Miss Me” exclusively through The Boot (view here). The song is also available through all streaming platforms and digital retailers (listen here).
Directed by Logen Christopher and produced by Hope Karwoski, the music video was created over the span of two days in various locations around the Nashville Metropolitan Area, including Mickey’s Tavern in Nashville and The Palace Theatre in Gallatin. The charming “rom-com” plot was completed with acting by Rollins Parker, Erik Rocca, and Jordan Fitzsimmons.
“This was one of the most enjoyable sets I’ve had the privilege of working on. Logen’s creative vision was so inspired and imaginative, and we all had such a genuinely great time working together and creating this story step-by-step!” Rutland raved.
Co-written with Danick Dupelle (Emerson Drive, Tebey) and Patricia Conroy (Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood) and produced by Brent Rader (Dylan Scott), Rutland aimed to craft a song that painted the whirlwind and passion of falling in love. Using her experience navigating a long-distance relationship, she realistically captures the urgency and impatience of distant lovers through the upbeat track.
About Kaylee Rutland: Country songstress Kaylee Rutland has been named a Country Living Magazine “Artist to Watch,” a Billboard Magazine “Top 10 Artists to Watch,” and was a finalist in the inaugural Nash Next competition, due in large part to her feverish social media following. Additionally, she had the opportunity to tour alongside Warner Music Nashville’s RaeLynn. Rutland’s previous EP, That Side Of Me focuses on the many different sides to Rutland’s music.
