Tickets Now Available for Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards Ceremony

(Nashville, Tenn. – Sept. 1, 2021) – The Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) has announced that individual tickets and tables are now available for the 2021 Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards ceremony, to be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at The Westin in Nashville, Tenn. Individual tickets are $150 per person and are available for purchase here. For tables and sponsorship opportunities, please contact Ashley Bourque at ashley@crb.org. A cocktail reception will take place at 6 p.m. CDT with the induction ceremony to follow at 7 p.m. CDT.

The Class of 2021 Country Radio Hall of Fame inductees will be honored and includes four off-air radio broadcasters and four on-air radio personalities. The off-air honorees are Bob Call, RJ Curtis, Bill Hagy, and Norm Schrutt. The on-air honorees are Heather Froglear, Buzz Jackson, Bob Pickett, and Angie Ward. Additionally, special presentations honoring this year’s CRB Artist Career Achievement Award and President’s Award will be held. Recipients of these achievements will be released in the coming weeks. 

Country Radio Hall of Fame Co-Chair, Joel Raab, comments, “We’re thrilled to bring the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2021 together with their friends, family, and peers to honor their incredible achievements on what will be a memorable evening.”

The Country Radio Hall of Fame is dedicated to the recognition of individuals who have made significant contributions to the radio industry over a 20-year period, 15 of which must be in the Country format. 

The Country Radio Hall of Fame was founded in 1974 to recognize outstanding individuals working in the broadcasting industry who are promoting the Country radio format. The Hall of Fame has two categories: Radio and On-Air Personality. The CRB President’s Award and the Artist Career Achievement Award are also recognized at the event.

CRS/CRB Executive Director, RJ Curtis, spoke on the steps the organization is taking surrounding the health and safety of event attendees, saying, “Providing a safer environment for our inductees, attendees, sponsors, and staff is our top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. In that spirit, CRB, Inc and its Board of Directors are requiring anyone attending the October 13 Country Radio Hall of Fame ceremony to please provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID test result completed within 48-hours of the event.”
