“There to Catch Me” Headed to Alternative Radio Oct. 25
(Nashville, Tenn.– Oct. 21, 2021) Nashvillains have released their new music video for “There to Catch Me”– now on CMT Music (here). The video will air during CMT’s Edge programming throughout the day on Oct. 21, starting at 6:30 a.m. CST and ending at 10:33 p.m. CST. The track is the third single to be released from their upcoming concept album Tumbling Down, due out early next year. The single is also available on all streaming services here.
Filmed in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, CA, the music video brings the story of loss to life. Featuring actors Johnny Wactor and Caitlin Harris, the clip shows a husband coping with the death of his wife through his reimagination of their wedding day. Award-winning director and producer Bethany Ashton Wolf took the disastrously beautiful lyrics and turned them into a cinematic masterpiece worthy of prime television.
“When I heard The Nashvillain’s song “There to Catch Me” for the first time, it was so hauntingly beautiful that an entire story flashed before my eyes that I could see, feel, and touch. Troy, Brett, and Scott have this throw-back vibe to them that reminds me of The Outlaws and the lead singer, Troy has, this voice that has this sensual, contrasting duality in it that is so mellifluous and gravely. It pulls you in, wanting to hear more,” Ashton praises. “I knew in an instant that I had to tell this story, with the band as the vessel in which it is told. My crew, cast, and I went into the Hollywood Hills, looming high above the City of Angels, with these modern-day poets, dressed in all-black, to tell this intoxicating story through their powerful song. It was a magical experience for all of us.”
Nashvillains and Ashton created a long-form version of the music video, which will be shown in film festivals around the globe starting in 2022. For now, fans can enjoy the music video at the airtimes below. All airtimes are eastern time zone.

Signed to Fate Entertainment, Nashvillains’ inception stemmed from the industry veterans’ and musicians’ shared love of country music and rock and roll. Each member has been successful in their own right before coming together for this unique project. Collectively, they have written and produced music for feature films, television shows, and major artists like The Chicks, Keith Urban, Cassadee Pope, James Taylor, Lauren Alaina, among many more.
Band members Brett Boyett and Scott Lindsey first met in a writing session where they shared a commonality on a creative vision; that the country music spectrum was in dire need of a rock meets outlaw country presence that flirts with sonic experimentation. Having been familiar with Troy Johnson through the songwriting community, Boyett pinned Troy Johnson and his gritty vocals as a potential third member when he learned that Lindsey shared his publishing company with the sought-after writer; the rest was history.
The newly formed group looks to create a fresh musical landscape by blurring lines between genres, bending the rules of convention, and expanding country music. The sonic landscape of the Nashvillains is accomplished by using traditional instrumentation with creative modern programming while emphasizing the dramatic and untold stories rarely touched upon by today’s popular country music.
