(Nashville, Tenn.– Dec. 1, 2021) Creed Fisher releases “The Wild Ones” music video today. “The Wild Ones” song first debuted on Fisher’s The Wild One album, which came out in 2020. The music video is now available worldwide on YouTube here. The video world premiered on November 30 on Roughstock here.
Produced by Michael Graef Creative and directed by Graef, Chuck Jones, and Brandon Yannotti, Fisher wanted to revisit this track to remind fans to embrace themselves and always run with the wild ones. Complete with a raging bonfire, truck beds, moonshine, friends, and the sounds of southern rock, Fisher knocks this video out of the park.
The video was filmed at a quarry near Fisher’s home in Lake Canyon, TX, surrounded by some of his friends. It isn’t overthought or overplanned. The visuals match the vein of edgy, dark rock sounds that come with the instruments and the lyrics align with the vibe of Creed Fisher’s tribe.
Fisher elaborates, “The inspiration for this song and video is my life. One thing that has become clear to everyone is that I speak my mind, and I take things too far at times. Since the day I was born, I’ve been a wild child, and I felt like writing a song about being a ‘wild one.’ On the video set, we had the crew out there, and everyone was drinking and having a good time – just being how the wild ones are.”
2021 has been a big year for Fisher. He recently won the Texas Country Music Award for Alternative / Roots Artist of the Year. He also signed with Dirt Rock Empire earlier this year and celebrated an album release, Whiskey and the Dog, which debuted at #4 on the iTunes Country chart and #17 out of all genres on the day of its release.
In November, Fisher wrapped up a tour with his most recent album releases, Whiskey and the Dog and How Country Music Sounded Before It All Went to Shit, Vol. 1. He is also currently experiencing success at Texas radio. With his last three albums debuting in the Top 5 on iTunes, Fisher hopes his newest album, Whiskey and the Dog, will continue to help him defy the odds. With over 22 million combined streams on Spotify and 17 million+ views on YouTube with past releases, Creed Fisher is an artist who has created a fan base and following by authentically connecting with fans and playing real, rowdy country music.
Like a steely-eyed gunslinger from a Sergio Leone western, he is a man of few words and lets his music tell his story. Fisher has never been one to sell his soul to trends. Keeping it real means writing songs that real people can relate to; the good, bad, and even the ugly. His previous singles, “Rock & Roll Man,” “Be the Hope,” “I’m Growing Older, But I’m Not Growing Up,” and “A Few Good Ol’ Cowboys” all hit Top 10, Top 25, or Top 30 on the Texas Charts. He was also named the BigStar97 Outlaw Country artist of the Year in 2018.
