Jurgensmeyer shared his inspiration behind “Falling Too,” saying, “When we wrote this song, it sort of came out of nothing. The four of us had sat down to write and didn’t have any ideas, and nothing was really sticking. Kyle started strumming some progressions he came up with to fill in the dead air between us all, and Brian started mumbling the start of a verse. I actually had the chorus in the notes on my phone for quite a few months, and so when it came to writing this chorus, I threw the idea out there just to see if I could finally write it with something… and it stuck.”
The track was written collaboratively by Jet Jurgensmeyer, Brian Sauerwald, Kyle Winski, and Pierson Swanson. The song was recorded at Addiction Sounds Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and produced by Jet Jurgensmeyer, Dan Frizsell, and Butch Baker.
