(Nashville, Tennessee – September 23, 2024) – Rising country-pop rock artist Emily Brooke announces the release of her new single “last to know” before embarking on the Nashville Country Cafe Theater Tour throughout the Netherlands. “last to know” will be available for streaming on October 11. Pre-save the single here.

Excited about the new single, Brooke shares, “This song has been long anticipated by a lot of my fans and it’s about a feeling I believe everyone has gone through…knowing something is coming to an end and wishing you didn’t see it coming so you could enjoy the love a little longer. I hope it brings comfort to people who have gone through that kind of heartbreak.”

“last to know” captures the heartache of realizing that something is amiss in a relationship, where even the subtle changes in your partner’s gaze and touch reveal a shift in their feelings, and despite loving them deeply, you wish you could remain blissfully unaware for just a little longer before facing the inevitable end. The single release comes on the heels of Brooke’s previous single “Not Yet,” which explores the transitional phase of a relationship and captures the essence of living in the present while dreaming of what’s to come.

Hailing from the charming town of Wellington, Florida Brooke has been making waves in Nashville as an upcoming country/pop singer songwriter. Despite being only 25 years old, Emily has dedicated over a decade to her craft, immersing herself in the world of songwriting and performance. Her journey through the music industry is nothing short of impressive; she has graced the stage as an opener for some of the genre’s most celebrated artists, including Kelsea Ballerini, Old Dominion, Ryan Hurd, Charles Kelley, Craig Campbell, and Randy Houser, to name just a few.

Brooke’s  talent was evident early on in her career when, at just 17, she earned a spot as a Top 24 finalist on American Idol. This achievement marked the beginning of a remarkable journey that would see her traveling back and forth between her hometown and Nashville. She has collaborated with esteemed songwriters like Jamie Floyd, Josh Kerr, and Hannah Ellis to craft her previous self-titled EP, which achieved notable success by charting at #11 on the iTunes Country Albums chart and #81 across all genres. Her move to Nashville was a pivotal step, transforming her from a promising young artist into a full-time resident of the heart of country music.

Brooke is expected to embark on the Nashville Country Cafe Tour this fall, where she will be one of many featured artists performing throughout the Netherlands. This tour will bring a taste of Nashville’s country music to European audiences, highlighting the charm and storytelling tradition of country music in an intimate theater setting and  emulating a night in Nashville at the Bluebird Café.  Brooke will have the opportunity to showcase her work and connect with a new audience, expanding the reach of country music across international borders.

Her musical style is a unique blend of “sweet and sassy” with a distinct edge, creating a powerful synergy in both her songwriting and performances. This signature sound has resonated with many, growing over 257k fans on social media.
