(Nashville, Tennessee – October 21, 2024) The Women’s Music Business Association (WMBA) is now accepting applications for its Class of 2025. WMBA provides members with education, networking, industry involvement, and community service opportunities designed to empower women and help them thrive in the dynamic music landscape.
Applicants must submit their application for membership, accompanied by at least one (1) letter of recommendation, by 11:59 PM CDT on Friday, November 15, 2024. The WMBA Board of Officers will review all submissions during their November meeting, with applicants being notified of their membership status by mid-November.
Eligibility requirements include full-time employment in the music industry for at least one year prior to the November 15 deadline. Additionally, applicants must earn the majority of their income from a music-related job. Singer-songwriter applicants are required to be affiliated with a Performance Rights Organization (PRO).
Membership is valid for one calendar year, spanning from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
