How Do I Live [Official Video]
(NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Aug. 10, 2026) After releasing her own interpretations of the timeless classic “How Do I Live” in both English and Spanish, acclaimed singer-songwriter Ana Cristina Cash has unveiled the official music videos for “How Do I Live” and “Cómo Vivir Sin Verte.” The videos, recently featured by Fort Nash, are now available on YouTube.
Directed by Juan A. García and produced by García and Pelayo Álvarez Fernández, the videos were filmed at the picturesque Ermita de La Regalina chapel and on Cadavedo Beach in Asturias, Spain, a region where many of Ana’s family members have lived. With the artist performing the song that ignited her love of country music at age 11 in both English and Spanish, the beautiful setting serves as a powerful tribute to her artistic journey while celebrating her Cuban-American and Spanish heritage.
Originally written by prolific songwriter Diane Warren for the 1997 action film Con Air, “How Do I Live” famously spawned two simultaneous hit recordings—LeAnn Rimes’ and Trisha Yearwood’s—and became one of the most recognizable ballads of the 1990s. Produced by Grammy-winning producer John Carter Cash and recorded at the legendary Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tennessee, Ana’s English and Spanish interpretations breathe new life into the song while honoring its enduring legacy.
“It feels so meaningful to revisit ‘How Do I Live’ and bring it to life in both English and Spanish,” she shares. “‘Cómo Vivir Sin Verte’” is my way of honoring both sides of my heritage and connecting with the Hispanic and American audiences that reflect who I am.”
