(Nashville, Tennessee – September 3, 2025) – Wildflower Entertainment Group’s inaugural Backstage Access Presents: Heartland wrapped this past weekend with resounding success, raising more than $100,000 for the Iowa State University Foundation to support the Iowa Concern Hotline and expand mental wellness resources for farmers and ranchers.
Held August 28–30 in Eastern Iowa, Heartland welcomed guests for a three-day VIP destination event designed to celebrate the stories, culture, and people who form the backbone of rural America. At its core, Heartland exists to honor rural communities while spotlighting the urgent need for accessible mental health programs for those in agriculture, where isolation, long hours, and financial pressures often create silent struggles.
Launched by Wildflower Entertainment Group, founded by music industry veteran Bobbii Jacobs, Heartland reimagines the connection between artists and audiences by curating intimate, immersive experiences rooted in storytelling, culture, and place. The 2025 edition featured private farm-to-table dinners with locally sourced ingredients, alongside early access to unreleased music from some of country’s most promising rising stars.
The event showcased an impressive roster of performers, including Drew Baldridge, Annie Bosko, Garrett Bradford, Allie Colleen, Erin Grand, Morgan Myles, Jenna Paulette, Kenya Reese, Cooper Riley, and Adam Wainwright. These artists, many with personal ties to agriculture, lent their voices and support to help raise awareness for rural mental health initiatives.
The event concluded on Saturday night, when Tim McGraw performed the first-ever concert at the legendary Field of Dreams Movie Site. The historic performance was made even more meaningful as it coincided with what would have been his late father, Tug McGraw’s 81st birthday.
Heartland’s success was made possible thanks to the generous support of partners, including the Iowa Beef Council, Ely Cattleman, LoKey Hat Company, and Yeti. Their commitment helped ensure a weekend that blended music, culture, and philanthropy while making a tangible impact on the lives of rural families.
“As someone who grew up in Iowa, it’s incredibly meaningful to bring an event like Heartland home,” said Bobbii Jacobs, founder of Wildflower Entertainment Group. “This weekend was about more than just the music. It was about celebrating our culture, our communities, and the resilience of rural America. To see over $100,000 raised in our first year for such an important cause is something I’m deeply proud of.”
Expanding on this mission, Backstage Access Presents will continue to curate boutique destination experiences that bring together music, storytelling, and purpose in powerful and unforgettable ways.
Backstage Access Presents is already in the planning process for additional events in 2026, including the return of Heartland. Sign up at https://www.backstageaccesspresents.com to stay informed and up to date on newly announced events.
