Singer to Return to Nashville for Shows July 21 & 23
(Nashville, TN – July 15, 2009) Brazilian Country music artist Rodrigo Haddad has released a video for the title track to his latest album, From Brazil to TN.
The video, shot at various beach locations near Sao Paulo, Brazil, features Haddad relaxing on a boat and enjoying the laid back atmosphere of his native country.
“The whole world loves the Brazilian way of life,” Haddad explains. “I wanted to make a simple video that shows how I enjoy my vacation time there.”
Haddad will return to Nashville to play the Billy Block Show at 12th & Porter (Tuesday, July 21, 8 p.m.), as well as Ri’chard’s Louisiana Café (Thursday, July 23, 6:15 p.m.) and the Commodore Sports Bar & Grill (Thursday, July 23, 9 p.m.).
The Brazilian singer released his latest album, From Brazil to TN, in 2008. The project was recorded in Nashville at Country Q Studios and took nearly two years to complete. Haddad wrote 11 of the album’s 14 tracks.
Haddad was a performer at the very first CMA Global Artist Party prior to the CMA Music Fest in 2004. His first album, Ten Years and More to Come was released in 2005 and he was nominated for the CMA Global Country Artist Award in 2007. He has been performing in Nashville since 1996 and receives extensive radio play across Europe and Latin America.
