Mitchell Releases Second Single From Upcoming Debut Album ‘Chase Your Purpose’
(Nashville, Tenn. – April 14, 2022) Chase Mitchell releases his highly-anticipated second single, “Strawberry Daiquiris,” from his debut album, Chase Your Purpose. “Strawberry Daiquiris” is now streaming worldwide here.
“Strawberry Daiquiris” is a heartfelt tribute to the feeling of first love and the yearning for simpler times spent with that special someone. Mitchell collaborated with three-time ACM Musician of The Year, Danny Rader, to produce this track.
According to Mitchell, “We wanted to capture the essence of that spring break first-time feeling of love. Danny Rader and I are blessed to have married our high school sweethearts. Sometimes you find yourself covered up with the busyness of life and all of its responsibilities and before you know it, you end up longing for those younger days…reminiscing about that first strawberry-flavored Chapstick kiss you shared, watching the sun sink down over the ocean, and sharing a daiquiri (one drink, two straws of course). Thus, ‘Strawberry Daiquiris’ was born!”
The new song comes on the heels of Mitchell’s previous release “Back Road.” Both tracks are to be featured on Mitchell’s forthcoming debut album, Chase Your Purpose. Mitchell has been in the studio for 16 months piecing the project together with Danny Rader.
In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mitchell took a leap of faith and decided to devote his time to collaborating in Nashville. Writing and recording with some of Nashville’s top musicians & writers (Joe West, Mark Hill, Nir Z, Danny Rader), Mitchell hunkered down and did what he does best: create music straight from the heart.
Mitchell has been writing and playing music all his life, and he even signed his first record deal at just nine years old. Throughout his career, he has opened for some of the biggest names in music, including Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, OutKast, and Destiny’s Child.
