(Nashville, Tennessee – October 22, 2025) – Country Radio Seminar (CRS) has announced the first round of talent for Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley, returning on Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Legends D-G at the Omni Nashville Hotel. The hallmark late-night event will spotlight some of the genre’s most iconic voices and songwriters, kicking off with a special celebration of ’90s country featuring Clint Black, Steve Wariner, and Paul Overstreet.

The three artists have not only defined a generation of country music but also helped shape its enduring legacy.

  • Clint Black rose to prominence as one of the genre’s most consistent hitmakers, selling more than 20 million records, scoring 22 No. 1 singles, and earning multiple awards throughout the ’90s. His chart-topping hits include “Nothin’ but the Taillights,” “A Better Man,” “Killin’ Time,” “Like the Rain,” and “Nobody’s Home.”
  • Steve Wariner, a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and four-time GRAMMY Award winner, has left an indelible mark on country music through both his own chart-topping hits and countless collaborations. His timeless songs include “Holes in the Floor of Heaven,” “All Roads Lead to You,” “Longneck Bottle,” “Some Fools Never Learn,” “Life’s Highway,” “The Weekend,” and “I Got Dreams.”
  •
  • Paul Overstreet, one of Nashville’s most revered songwriters, penned a staggering catalog of classics across the ’80s and ’90s. His credits include “Forever and Ever, Amen” and “On the Other Hand” for Randy Travis, “When You Say Nothing at All” for Keith Whitley (and later Alison Krauss), and “Love Can Build a Bridge” for The Judds. As an artist, Overstreet also enjoyed solo success with songs like “Daddy’s Come Around” and “Seein’ My Father in Me.”

Hosted by Fitz from Country Top 40, Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley celebrates the craft of songwriting with performances from some of the most talented songwriters in the industry. Adding to the evening’s excitement, Radio Ink will honor its “Top Country PDs” during the event.

Black, Wariner, and Overstreet will set the tone for an unforgettable night of songs, stories, and nostalgia, honoring the music that shaped country radio through one of its most influential decades. Additional songwriters and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Now in its 13th year, the event has become a cornerstone of CRS programming, offering attendees a rare opportunity to experience hit songs in their purest form, performed by the artists and writers who created them.

Sponsored by Country Top 40 with Fitz, Skyview Networks, and First Horizon Bank, with the bar sponsored by ASCAP, Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley continues to be one of the most anticipated and talked-about events of CRS.
