Recorded at Starstruck Studios in Nashville, the track is written by Colton James alongside Kim Tribble, and is beautifully crafted to describe a love that stands the test of time. The song was produced by Jimmy Nichols in collaboration with James and uses the strums of guitars and a steady drum beat to create a song that helps couples envision their journeys. A song for first dances and more, “Ring on Her Finger,” is a country classic.
James elaborates on the inspiration behind the track, “That first walk on the Beach together hand in hand in the Outer Banks of North Carolina has transformed into a lifetime of memories and a beautiful family. In life, when you find real love with that special someone, you put a Ring on Her Finger! I put a ring on my best friend’s finger, my beautiful wife, Cassie. I wrote this song for her, and I hope other lovers will be able to relate and enjoy it.”
Colton recently released the patriotic track, “I Miss America” and is working with television and radio programming to bring Reel Water Cowboy, a show combining music, fishing, and cuisine from all over the world, to the big screen as well as the Reel Water Cowboy Radio Show. Both shows will be available in the coming months. They are also in the works of introducing the Land 4 Heroes Lodge, which will aid and help give back to veterans.
Colton James’ country roots run deep and were developed at a young age. What started as a truck ride to the fishing hole became a lifestyle.
