(Nashville, TN – April 23, 2009) Big Machine/NSA/Midas recording artist Adam Gregory recently wrapped up a successful six-week tour partnership with Nashville-based charity organization Soles4Souls.
Gregory visited select markets across the country during his “What It Takes 2009″ club tour, playing shows and partnering with local radio stations to raise money and awareness for the Soles4Souls organization.”Soles4Souls is a great charity that’s really helping out a lot of people,” says Gregory. “People forget about the basic comforts that most of us take for granted, like a simple pair of shoes, but think about how miserable you’d be without them. I’m proud to say that we helped make a difference in a lot of people’s lives through this partnership.”
The tour generated thousands of dollars in donations and gently worn shoes. Each show benefited from local radio tie-ins and included a singles mixer component. In some cities, Gregory personally visited shelters to distribute shoes to needy individuals within the community.”Adam Gregory is a talented young artist with a big heart,” said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. “We expect big things from him in the future and look forward to working with this young man again.”
Gregory’s newest album, Crazy Days, was released in Canada on March 24. Gregory’s current tour resumes May 16 in Detroit, Mich. For more information and tour dates, visit www.AdamGregory.com.
