Country Artist J. Michael Harter Talks “Juggling”

New Music, Publishing Company and A Baby for Harter

(Nashville, Tenn. – Oct. 27, 2014) – Country artist J. Michael Harter has spent much of last three months setting up and promoting his new single, “Holy Cowgirl” and EP, Ride On; but, that doesn’t begin to cover the amount of multi-tasking the singer-songwriter has done in recent weeks.

He notes that,“Visiting radio has been a lot of fun..Getting to meet new people and developing new friendships is one of the many things I love about being in this business.”

In addition to his radio tour, J. Michael has been simultaneously overseeing the Harter family publishing company, Anozira Publishing, writing and recording songs for a new album to be released in 2015, and preparing for the birth of his first child!

Given all these personal and professional things going on, J. Michael considers himself a juggler of sorts.

Anozira Publishing has been aggressively building its catalogue and recently added industry veteran Sherrill Blackman to their team. Blackman will be involved in song plugging and business relations for the company.

The upcoming album will feature contributions from many of the writers featured on Ride On, including, J. Michael’s brother and producer, Scott Harter, and Bobby Holland. The three of them are currently in the studio finishing tracks for the new project.

Harter comments, “I have been writing in my limited free time for this new project. I am trying to be efficient with my time and when I am home I’m staying up late listening through songs that aren’t finished yet or need more work. I really do enjoy this part of the creative process!”

In the midst of all this, he is accumulating dates for the coming year. With “Holy Cowgirl” picking up momentum at radio and dance clubs nationwide, his schedule for first quarter 2015 is rapidly filling up.

AXS.com writer Kevin Wierzbicki comments of the single, “Harter has definitely roped himself a hit with “Holy Cowgirl”. Not only is the song a dance floor filler and easy sing-along, it’s title makes for a fun honky-tonk catchphrase or pick-up line enhancer.”

Most importantly, however, J. Michael is preparing for his biggest role yet – father. Harter is expecting the arrival of his first child on Oct. 31.
