Tate Garners More Supporters In “I’ll Give My All” Campaign
(Nashville, Tenn. – July 2, 2013) USO Ambassador and Country music recording artist Jamie Tate has teamed up with Kangaroo Express convenience stores for its third-annual ‘Salute Our Troops®’ campaign.
Tate will join the campaign during its concert events, kicking off in Oak Grove, Ky. on July 26, continuing to Sumter, S.C. on August 9 and Fayetteville, N.C. on August 22. The appearances are part of Kangaroo Express’ ‘Salute Our Troops’ Family Fun Nights, supporting an evening of care-free entertainment for military families. Tate will also be a celebrity musician guest judge for the ‘Salute Our Troops’ Talent Show in Sanford, N.C. on August 16.
Since its inaugural year in 2011, the ‘Salute Our Troops’ campaign has raised $5.7 million dollars, breaking fundraising records for many beneficiary organizations, including two of the most accomplished grassroots campaigns the USO has been involved in during its more than 70-year history.
Donations from the campaign will support the USO, lifting the spirits of America’s troops and their families and Fisher House Foundation, donating “comfort homes” at major military and VA medical centers that enable military families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization. In addition donations will also support eight state-based military support organizations.
“I’m so excited to team up with Kangaroo Express for the tour,” said Tate. “It’s an honor to be a representative for such an incredible company and cause. Performing for our troops has always been very important to me.”
Kangaroo Express is also sponsoring Tate’s performance at the Coke Zero 400, Daytona NASCAR race in Daytona, Fla. on July 6.
In addition to sponsoring Tate, Kangaroo Express is sponsoring 50,000 new digital download cards of her patriotic single, “I’ll Give My All,” to be distributed during the ‘Salute Our Troops’ Tour. With this sponsorship purchase, Tate has now topped the 150,000 sales mark.
The 50,000 download sales came from Tate’s unique sponsorship campaign, in which corporate or private sponsors can purchase “I’ll Give My All” download cards. The cards are then given to current and former service members free of charge. The recent transactions catapulted Tate to overall sales of more than 150,000 downloads, including corporate and private sponsor purchases and individual downloads from Tate’s website and digital outlets, such as iTunes and Amazon.com
The download cards are distributed directly by the sponsors or via military care packages. Each card contains a printed code that grants the cardholder access to Tate’s official website (www.IllGiveMyAll.com) where the song can be downloaded for free.
