(Nashville, Tenn. – Aug. 4, 2011) Swangate Records has announced an ongoing sponsorship agreement between Country artist Lacy Green and New York City-based fine jewelry company, SLANE. As part of the agreement, Green will wear SLANE’s signature sterling silver pieces (including necklaces, bracelets, rings and pendants) at her upcoming performances and appearances. SLANE’S local High Point, N.C., retailer Simon Jewelers will also serve as a co-sponsor in the deal. Green, along with sisters Landon and Heath Slane of SLANE, are all natives of High Point.
“There is no doubt that Lacy has tremendous talent and her ambition is admirable,” says SLANE co-founder Heath Slane. “It’s reminiscent of the drive Landon and I had back in High Point dreaming of starting our own jewelry line, and we’re thrilled to be a part of another High Point woman’s journey to fulfill her dreams.”
Green’s debut single, “For The Summertime,” is at Country radio now. The 22-year-old singer has been visiting radio stations on a promotional tour since June and continuing to work with producer Ronnie Bowman on her debut album for SwanGate Records, due out later this year. SLANE jewelry has been featured in the pages of Vogue, InStyle, More and Town & Country, among others.
