“Wasted Drinking” is a poignant heartbreak ballad written by Matt McClure, Brandy Neely, and Chris Sligh. “Wasted Drinking tells the story of a woman trying to drown her heartbreak one glass at a time, hoping each pour will wash away the memory of the one who left her, Tritt shares. But no matter how much she drinks, the pain lingers – because some wounds run too deep for liquor to reach. In the end, she realizes every drink was wasted, because you can’t drown the kind of ache love leaves behind.”
“Wasted Drinking” comes on the heels of Tritt’s previous release, “Blood Money.” The dark, defiant, and feisty Southern tale, “Blood Money,” dives deep into themes of legacy, power, and corruption.

Produced by Matt McClure (except the standout ballad “You Lost Me”), the EP reflects a bold new chapter for the Georgia-born singer-songwriter, daughter of country icon Travis Tritt.
