Country Artist Tyler Reese Tritt Releases New Single “Wasted Drinking”

Tyler Reese Tritt

A Heartbreak Anthem from upcoming Debut EP, ‘Wild at Heart,’ Due Out November 2025

(Nashville, TN – October 17, 2025) – Rising country artist Tyler Reese Tritt unveils her new single, “Wasted Drinking.” The emotional track is available now on all major streaming platforms here. The track marks the fourth release from her highly anticipated debut EP, Wild at Heart, due out in November 2025. Pre-save Wild at Heart here.

“Wasted Drinking” is a poignant heartbreak ballad written by Matt McClure, Brandy Neely, and Chris Sligh. “Wasted Drinking tells the story of a woman trying to drown her heartbreak one glass at a time, hoping each pour will wash away the memory of the one who left her, Tritt shares. But no matter how much she drinks, the pain lingers – because some wounds run too deep for liquor to reach. In the end, she realizes every drink was wasted, because you can’t drown the kind of ache love leaves behind.”

“Wasted Drinking” comes on the heels of Tritt’s previous release, “Blood Money.” The dark, defiant, and feisty Southern tale, “Blood Money,” dives deep into themes of legacy, power, and corruption.

With heartbreak anthems like “Wasted Drinking,” nostalgia-soaked tracks like “Another High,” and the dark intensity of “Blood Money,” Wild at Heart offers a compelling glimpse into the sonic range of this five-track collection. It captures Tritt’s unique blend of Southern grit, powerhouse vocals, and fearless, emotionally charged storytelling.

Produced by Matt McClure (except the standout ballad “You Lost Me”), the EP reflects a bold new chapter for the Georgia-born singer-songwriter, daughter of country icon Travis Tritt. Tyler first stepped into the spotlight at 14 with the duet “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” alongside her father, but she’s since carved out her own lane with fan-favorite singles like “Porch Light” and “Texas Hold Him.” Her magnetic stage presence and genre-blending style have earned her slots opening for acts such as Sheryl Crow, Runaway June, and more. This fall, Tritt hits the road in support of Wild at Heart, bringing her high-energy live show to stages across the country.

Wild at Heart Track List:

1. “You Lost Me” (Andrew Capra, Dallas Caroline, Chris Sligh)

2. “Blood Money” (JC Anderson, Kensie Coppin, Marc Oriet, Lee Ticker)

3. “Another High” (Gabe Broussard, Kensie Coppin, Chancie Neal, Emma Zinck)
