(NASHVILLE, Tenn. – June 4, 2019) Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.® will present another installment of its recently-launched CRS360 webinar series on Tuesday, June 11th at 1 p.m. (CDT), with Part II of “A Discussion of Gender Balance at Country Radio.” Confirmed speakers for this episode include UMG Nashville President Cindy Mabe, Stoney Creek recording artist Lindsay Ell,and Pandora Head of Country Music, Beville Dunkerley.  Space for the webinar is limited, and available here.

Part I, presented on May 23, focused on chart data from the past 45 years, which provided historical context to the current male-female balance in Country music; a look at the Country music ecosystem and how it may be influenced by sociological variables; and an overview on the process Country radio uses to construct weekly playlists. To view the first installment of “A Discussion of Gender Balance at Country Radio,” visit here.

CRS360 will utilize Part II of this topic to hear key stakeholders in different segments of the business share their perspective of this topic, what challenges they each face, and steps they can take to achieve success. The discussion will be moderated by SummitMedia VP/Programming and President/GM of the company’s Wichita cluster, Beverlee Brannigan.

Interested parties can register to participate in the webinar here. The webinar is free, but slots are limited so those interested should be sure to pre-register now.

“We’re thrilled with the turnout, and the positive feedback we received with Part I of this very important conversation,” said CRB Executive Director, RJ Curtis. “We were filled to capacity within 24 hours, and the information presented was helpful. But, as always, the heroes of any CRS panel are the attendees, who were fully engaged and asked some terrific, thought-provoking questions during the session.”

Additional CRS360 topics to be covered during 2019 include a look at Country radio’s mid-year ratings; revisiting continuous measurement in diary markets (first discussed at CRS2019); and, a look at podcasting for radio personalities.
