(Nashville, Tenn. – Feb. 9, 2018) – Country radio’s biggest event of the year, Country Radio Seminar (CRS) came to an end on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in downtown Nashville, Tenn.
In addition to the seminar’s most anticipated events like Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley, Team UMG at The Ryman, Big Machine Label Group’s Luncheon Show, and the New Faces of Country Music Show and Dinner, new events were added and included the Amazon Music & CRS Monday Night Showcase featuring the Radio Ink Best Country PD Awards and the New Faces After Party: #NextUp Showcase presented by Radio Disney Country.
The Amazon Music & CRS Monday Night Showcase featuring Radio Ink Best Country PD Awards, powered by Live Nation,included performances by Jordan Davis (UMG), Jimmie Allen (Broken Bow), and Jason Aldean (Broken Bow) whose set included a special encore performance with Garth Brooks (Pearl Records).

2018 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award Recipient Dierks Bentley was a featured speaker in “Climbing the Mountain” (sponsored by DAV) spotlighting his rise to superstardom.

The Women’s Mentoring Breakfast, sponsored by NuVoodoo Media Services, provided women with the opportunity to meet, greet, and eat with the industry’s most inspiring and accomplished women of today.


As part of its tradition of taking care of the individuals who make up the music industry family, Country Radio Seminar offered 2018 attendees a menu of healthy living opportunities including Shatki Power Yoga sessions, the Shakti Meditation Room, the HOCATT Ozone Sauna and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Juice Bar.


Country music superstar Brad Paisley was the center of conversation during a Q&A session, titled Brad Paisley: The Art and The Artist, at Country Radio Seminar 2018.

One of many educational events at CRS 2018 was “You’re a Brand: How To Build a Fan Base You Can Monetize” featuring Bobby Bones, John Zarling (Sony) Mandy McCormack (Pearl Records), Joey Tack (Scripps) and moderated by Becky Brenner (Albright & O’Malley & Brenner).


The annual New Faces of Country Music Dinner and Show featured performances by Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs, Midland, Carly Pearce, and Michael Ray.

CRS concluded with the New Faces After Party: #NextUp Showcase presented by Radio Disney Country and featured performances by Abby Anderson, Bailey Bryan, Christina Taylor, Kalie Shorr, Jillian Jacqueline, Tegan Marie, and Temecula Road.

The 3-day event featured many after-hour musical events showcasing new and established talent. Cold River Records’ “Drew’s Disco Party” at Kitchen Notes featured a special performance by Drew Baldridge followed by a disco-themed dance party with a lighted dance floor and guest DJ.
