(Nashville, TN – February 16, 2024) Country Radio Seminar (CRS) is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated “Paddle Royale” 16-player Ping Pong Tournament. Paddle Royale, which has been growing each year, with over 800 in attendance last year, is expected to be one of the many fun highlights of CRS 2024. Players include artists Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Sam Hunt, Russell Dickerson, Tyler Hubbard, returning Champion Chris Lane and industry executives Kurt Bardella (Morning Hangover), Johnny Chiang (SiriusXM / Pandora), Michelle Kammerer (Amazon Music), Annie Ortmeier (Triple Tigers Records), Jackie Tigue (iHeart), Jay Williams (WME), Kristen Williams (Warner Music Nashville), and more to be announced!
Tennessee Titans play-by-play man Mike Keith returns to call the action, and will be joined by Rob & Holly from Audacy WYCD/Detroit, providing sideline reporting.
The tournament will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, immediately following “Amazon Music Presents: Country Heat” at the Omni Nashville Hotel’s Legends D-G on the second floor. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the tournament starts at 9:00 p.m.
The Prime Ministers of Pong, George Couri and Tim Roberts are leading the charge on fun once again!
Roberts states, “This is the true test of success in the music business. We serve it up, care about spins, and we don’t settle for anything less than #1!”
Couri adds, “No music, no panels. Just getting our industry together to have fun and get silly. This thing gets bigger every year, and we are going to make the spectacle of it all even bigger this time.”
