Directed by Dustin J. Robinson and produced by Tucker and Michael Forsch, the video was filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada, and beautifully captures Tucker’s prowess and charm. The energy the track exudes is amplified through the glamorous fashion shots featured throughout the video. From bejeweled boots and ball gowns to that classic country blue jean look, Tucker expresses how she is still a country girl at heart underneath all of the Vegas glam.
Reflecting on the making of the music video, Tucker says, “Making this video was the most fun I’ve ever had! I wanted it to feel like a roller coaster fever dream of color and energy. I wore 32 different outfits and got to recreate some iconic moments. It was a dream to have such a clear vision of what I wanted and for the final product to exceed my expectations.”
Featured in the video is Tucker’s mom, acclaimed musician LaCosta Tucker. “Including my mom was very special,” she expressed. “She has been my biggest supporter, and I wanted to showcase her in this video by driving me in the truck because she has been the woman behind the wheel of my life. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I am today.” The inclusion of her mother in the video added a personal touch, enhancing the narrative with familial warmth and connection.
“Country Couture” was written by Tucker in collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer G’harah “PK” Degeddingseze and platinum-selling songwriter Tricia Battani and produced by Degeddingseze. The track is available for download here.
