On Wednesday, March 2, Arista Nashville recording artist Carrie Underwood helped officially kick off CRS 2011 with a performance of the national anthem immediately prior to the seminar’s keynote address, delivered by Scripps Networks CEO Ken Lowe. Warner Music Nashville artist Blake Shelton was this year’s headlining act at the ACM and Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40-sponsored CRS 2011 Music City Jam, held on Wednesday, March 2. Shelton’s musical guests during the show included Frankie Ballard, The Band Perry (ACM Top New Vocal Duo or Group Award winners), Luke Bryan, Laura Bell Bundy, Brett Eldredge and Chris Young.
