CRS 2015 Rusty Walker Scholarship Winners Announced

(Nashville, Tenn. – Dec. 8, 2014) – Country Radio Seminar has announced this year’s Rusty Walker Scholarship winners, who will receive an all expense-paid trip and registration to CRS 2015, held Feb. 25-27 at the Nashville Convention Center.

The three winners are: Andrea Bogdonas (Morning Show Co-Host, Promotions Director and Social Media Producer/Designer – WFMB/Springfield, IL), Colton Bradford (Night Host and Morning Stunt Guy – WKSJ/Mobile, AL) and Annie Brooks (Marketing and Promotions Director – KWJJ/Portland, OR).

The Rusty Walker Scholarship program was created in 2012 by the Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. to honor Country Radio Hall of Fame member, Rusty Walker, who passed away in May 2012. Each scholarship includes a full CRS 2015 registration, airfare and accomodations for three nights (Feb. 25, 2015 – Feb. 27, 2015). Scholars will be recognized at the CRS 2015 opening ceremonies and will have the opportunity to meet CRS board members during the three-day seminar. All scholarship applications were reviewed for consideration by a CRS selection committee.

About the Rusty Walker Scholarship Program: The Rusty Walker Scholarship Program was established by the Country Radio Broadcaster’s Board of Directors in 2012, following the passing of longtime board member, 2012 Country Radio Hall of Fame inductee, and well-known radio consultant, Rusty Walker. Every year, a select blue ribbon committee reviews applicants from a nationwide search to determine three full-time radio employees who will receive an all expense paid trip in his honor to the annual Country Radio Seminar.
