First new product in more than a decade features classic Exile lineup of Pennington, Taylor, Hargis, LeMaire and Goetzman
(Nashville, Tenn. – Jan. 30, 2012) Iconic Country band Exile has released their first new studio recordings in more than a decade with their People Get Ready EP.
The five-song collection includes four new Exile tracks and an a cappella version of the Curtis Mayfield classic, “People Get Ready.” Members J.P. Pennington (guitar/vocals), Les Taylor (acoustic guitar/vocals), Marlon Hargis (keyboards/vocals), Sonny LeMaire (bass/vocals) and Steve Goetzman (drums) reunited in 2010 to record and self-produce the project.
People Get Ready is being released on Big Horse Records in a joint distribution agreement with Nashville-based digital label, GMV Nashville. The EP is available at GMVNashville.com and through all major digital retailers, including Amazon and iTunes.
