Kenny Chesney’s “American Kids” and Lady Antebellum’s “Bartender” top list
(Nashville, Tenn. – January 12, 2015) – “American Kids” and “Bartender” topped the list of Country dance favorites in 2014, according to the Marco Club Connection’s 11th annual ranking of Country dance club songs.
The Nashville-based company surveys a panel of nearly 250 club owners, DJs and dance instructors from across the country to compile its rankings every December. Overall votes by the panel determine each song’s placement on the list.
Propelled by the success of line dances for “American Kids” and “Bartender,” choreographed by well-known choreographers Randy Pelletier and Donna Manning, 2014 saw great success for Chesney and Lady A.
2014 saw continued growth in dance-oriented, up-tempo Country singles, with hits like Dierks Bentley’s “Drunk on a Plane” and Jerrod Niemann’s “Donkey” making a lasting impression within the Country line-dance community.
