(Nashville, Tenn. – July 12, 2011) Bigride Records artist Marlee Scott delivered a preview of new material from her upcoming album release Tuesday evening, as well as some delicious BBQ for Nashville industry and execs at nearby Music Row venue, The Red Rooster.
Scott kicked off the private industry event by unveiling the soon-to-be-released music video for her current single, “Beautiful Maybe,” directed by Wes Edwards (Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Blake Shelton). Scott then launched into an energetic 30-minute set of songs from her forthcoming release. The near-capacity crowd heard brand new songs including “Let It Rain,” “Trainwreck” and “Planet of Your Own,” as well as “Beautiful Maybe,” written by chart-topping Nashville songwriters Marcus Hummon (Rascal Flatts, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw), Tia Sillers (Dixie Chicks, Pam Tillis, Lee Ann Womack) and Tania Hancheroff.
The showcase concluded two days of Nashville media visits and interviews for Scott, including stops at All Access, Country Aircheck, Country Weekly, Sirius XM and others. Scott is currently in the middle of a national, multi-leg radio tour in support of her “Beautiful Maybe” single, which arrived at Country radio June 27.
