Q. Where is your hometown?
A. Nashville, Tenn. – I entered the world breathing the musical air.
Q. What actor/actress would you want to play you in the movie of your life? Why?
A. If still living, I would choose Lucille Ball. She could play out the romantic comedy I live each and every day. I’ve also never met anyone that didn’t find her entertaining, so even when my story may not feel so exciting, she could carry on a great production and make me look really good. 😉
Q. What is your favorite Nashville eatery?
A. Sam’s, Boscos and Taco Mamacita are my go-to places for lunch, but I love me some Tavern and BrickTops!
Q. What TV or movie series are you obsessed with right now?
A. Downton Abbey, Walking Dead, and Cutthroat Kitchen
Q. If time or money weren’t an issue, what would you be doing right now?
A. I think there is no question as to whether I would be working. I definitely think I would still be doing that, I might just to be doing it from a location with a waterfront view.
Q. What is one type of food that you could not live without?
A. Anything Mexican… I especially love avocados, beans and queso!
Q. What is one interesting fact about you?
A. Growing up I played the drums and thought one day I’d pursue a career as a musician.
Q. If you could have any super power, what would it be?
A. To be like Bewitched and do whatever I wanted with the wiggle of my nose. It would make balancing my life as a mom and publicist so much easier… particularly when it comes to doing laundry or mailers and mailing list updates!
Q. A television show you can’t miss, but hate to admit you watch:
A. Teen Mom 2
Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Nashville on the weekend?
A. Weekends usually mean hitting the reset button and preparing for my family’s week ahead… But, when I do get to do something fun, I like to relax outside on a folding chair while cooking out with my family or friends and getting lost in conversation.
Q. What are some of your hobbies?
A. I absolutely love to cook. I’m also a hobby photographer and enjoy doing graphic design. I love it when I can outfit my almost 2-year-old daughter and take pictures of her. When I have the time, I go consignment sale hunting and thrift store shopping – I LOVE the thrill of a find.
Q. Take a picture of your favorite work coffee mug:
Q. Music That Has Shaped Your Life (Top 5):
A. This is a tough-one! But, these 5 come to mind… in no particular order!
- Alanis Morisette – Jagged Little Pill – This was one of the first albums I ever bought. The lyrics are so honest and I love listening to this record and reminiscing on my life and the memories I have from the time this album was released. I wanted so bad to be as cool as Alanis Morisette was.
- The Wilkinsons – Nothing But Love – The music, the lyrics, and the family bond – everything was so perfect about this album. At the time this was released, I felt like I could relate to the music in so many ways. I frequently go back and listen to this album. It is my comfort album.
- Dixie Chicks – Wide Open Spaces – Dixie Chicks are one of the reasons I started listening to Country music.
- Christina Aguilera – Back To Basics – This CD lived in my cd player for a year. I loved the energy that was in the music. I love vintage/pin-up style, which was the image she portrayed through the release of this record. I wanted her confidence and to be as beautiful as she was then. The music made me feel strong.
- Carpenters – Very Best Of The Carpenters or Christmas Portrait – This CD is such a standard around the holidays for my family. Karen Carpenter is one of my all-time favorite singers.
