Q: Where is your hometown? And why did you decide to come to Nashville?
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas! I came to Nashville two years ago when I transferred from The University of Oklahoma to Belmont University. I have always had a passion and love for the entertainment business, so I took the leap and moved to Nashville where I’m majoring in Entertainment Industry Studies and minoring in Marketing!
Q: What is one interesting fact about you?
I am a HUGE fan of the San Antonio Spurs! I grew up going to all the games with my family and made so many great memories. This year, I told myself I’m going to drive to Atlanta or Memphis and buy nosebleed seats to a game!
Q: What is your favorite Nashville eatery?
You can never go wrong with any of the M Street restaurants. Also, I strongly believe ice cream should be a food group– I love Jeni’s!!
Q: What is your favorite music venue? (Anywhere)
I love Austin 360 Amphitheater in Texas. It’s part of The Circus of the Americas complex and it’s right next door to the racetrack. In Nashville, I love seeing shows at the Ryman Auditorium because you can never get a bad seat!
Q: If you could only pick one, what would be your all-time favorite song?
I don’t like this question… I have so many!! But I think I am going to go with “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5.
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
I love to bake! I love going on Pinterest and trying to recreate the recipes, but they usually end up looking really ugly and nothing like the pictures. But they taste good!
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Nashville on the weekend?
I love going to concerts and shows on the weekends or any chance I get. I also love going shopping, going to see movies and going to brunch with my friends!
Q: If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Teleportation. Every time I travel, I always think how life could be so much easier if teleportation was real.
Q: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I believe my greatest achievement would be moving to Nashville to follow my dream of working in the music/entertainment business. I am so close to my family, so it was really hard for me to pick up and move to Nashville where I didn’t know anybody.
Q: What is something interesting that is on your bucket list?
My sister and I are working on a coffee table book! We are hoping to finish it and have it in stores by the end of 2016.
Q: What is one type of food that you could not live without?
Ice Cream!!! I went through serious withdrawals and heartache when Blue Bell had to shut down due to the whole listeria issue.
Q: What actor would you want to play you in the movie of your life? Why?
Either Selena Gomez or Leighton Meester. I love Selena, but I get told quite often (surprisingly) that I look like Leighton Meester (which is something I never get tired of hearing). I also love Leslie Mann and think she is so funny, but we look nothing alike!!
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
I would want to go back home to San Antonio or Los Angeles. It’s getting quite cold in Nashville, so going somewhere sunny sounds so good right now! I also have family in LA that I haven’t seen in so long, so it would be nice if I had a chance to see them!
Q: How would your friends describe you?
I think/hope that my friends would describe me as loyal, passionate and loving. They would probably also mention my love for the Jonas Brothers, One Direction and Disney stars!
Q: What TV or movie series are you obsessed with right now?
“Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal.” Shonda Rhimes is a genius who drives me crazy with the emotional roller coaster ride she takes me on with all of her crazy plot twists and storylines.
Q: What did you ‘want to be when you grew up’ as a kid?
When I was little, my dream was to be a pop star! Truthfully, it still is, but my singing ability says otherwise. For now, as long as I am surrounded by music and live events, I am more than happy! I’ll just stick to being a master at karaoke.
Q: If time or money weren’t an issue, what would you be doing right now?
I would love to travel around Europe and Australia and experience their culture. I am fascinated with England and Ireland (and their accents).
Q: What are the top five albums that have shaped your life?
Jonas Brothers – Jonas Brothers: This album came out when I was in the sixth grade and started my obsession with boy bands. It was my first concert! When I was 13, my mom drove my sisters and I to Dallas to see their concert and meet them and it meant so much to me that she would drive us there. At the concert, she ended up buying herself a “lawn” ticket and sitting at the very back against the fence and read a book.
Fearless – Taylor Swift: I think all of Taylor’s albums have shaped my life. The first time I saw her live was on her Fearless tour at the San Antonio Rodeo and I remember it like it was yesterday!
X – Ed Sheeran: Ed Sheeran is an amazing singer/songwriter and musician. This is my go-to album when I am stressed out and tired.
The Reckoning – NeedToBreathe: This album was on repeat constantly when I was in high school. I love how they incorporated Christian values and messages into their songs.
1989 – Taylor Swift: Everything about this album makes me so happy! It always makes me dance!
Q: A television show you can’t miss, but hate to admit you watch:
My sister recently talked me into watching “The Bachelor” with her and I’m not happy that I watched it because now I’m hooked. It makes me cringe at how uncomfortable some of the awkward moments make me, but I can’t look away.
Q: If you could spend the day with any person (living or deceased), who would it be?
I would love to spend a day with Harry Styles. He is so well known around the world, but seems so humble. He’s also not hard to look at all day!
Q: What is your life goal?
At the end of the day, I just want to be healthy, happy and proud of whatever I end up doing.
Q: What is your favorite joke?
Knock Knock
Who’s there?
A cow goes…
A cow goes who?
No, silly! A cow goes MOO!!
Daily necessities in your desk drawer, pocket, or purse:
I’m obsessed with this lip-gloss– I always have to have it on me. It’s also a great chapstick.
Take a photo of your favorite coffee mug and explain:
I love coffee and I love to drink it out of these mugs from Anthropologie. I have a blue one with an “S” on it as well. They are the perfect size for my small hands and are so lightweight!
