(Nashville, Tenn. – Jan. 23, 2023) – Nashville Meets London (NML) has announced the lineup for its upcoming NML Presents at PizzaExpress Live! (Holborn). On Wednesday, February 22, the much-anticipated show will feature Katy Hurt and special guest Dave Sutherland. CountryLine Radio host, Matt Spracklen will compere the event, which marks the first concert of the 2023 NML residency.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and shows begin at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are £18.00, and only a limited number of tickets are available. Tickets are available for purchase at www.pizzaexpresslive.com. Other upcoming dates for the NML Presents Monthly series are March 22, April 19, May 24, June 21, and July 19.
BCMA nominee, Katy Hurt, has won accolades such as the UK Country Music Spotlight Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Best EP, Best Song, and Best Video and played at major festivals such as Country 2 Country at the O2 Arena, Pilton Party on Glastonbury’s famed Pyramid Stage and the Isle of Wight festival. Hurt’s latest two singles, “Sounds Good In A Bar” and “Wish I Could Give You Up,” went to #1 on the UK iTunes charts on the day of release and were subsequently added to rotation on CBC and SiriusXM and playlisted on Amazon Music. London-based Americana/Country singer-songwriter Dave Sutherland is an accomplished performer and was awarded UK Male Country Singer of the Year at The UK Country Music Awards. Sutherland’s latest album, Last Drop of Empty, was released to worldwide critical acclaim and produced two Top 5 singles. It was voted Runner Up UK Americana Album of the Year by the readers of Americana UK and nominated for UK Country Album of the Year at the UK Country Music Awards.
2023 marks the 6th Anniversary Year of NML Presents! and PizzaExpress has been the home of NML Presents! since its formation. NML Presents! is co-produced by Peter Conway with Peter Conway Management, Matt Watkins and Christy Walker-Watkins with Nashville-based agency, The AristoMedia Group, and UK-based presenter Matt Spracklen, in collaboration with PizzaExpress Live. Each show features two rising country music artists, one from the UK and one from the US or another territory. Located at 99 High Holborn in London, PizzaExpress Live is an intimate space for the best in live entertainment and features a state-of-the-art sound system, stage, and setting.
