(Nashville, Tenn. – May 28, 2014) – Newcomer Abigail Rose has signed a co-publishing agreement with Twenty Ten Music as well as a limited production deal with the company’s co-owner, Grammy® award-winning producer, Charlie Peacock. The announcement is made as Rose is recording and preparing for the release of her upcoming album later this year.
Charlie Peacock is an award-winning, multi-format performer, record producer and co-composer of the title theme for the AMC drama TURN. His current production credits include The Civil Wars, Kris Allen, The Lone Bellow, Holly Williams, Ben Rector, Brett Dennen and “Misery Chain” for Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell featuring Joy Williams, from the soundtrack to the film, 12 Years A Slave.
Music publishing and production company, Twenty Ten Music, is co-owned by Peacock and David Kiersznowski. The Twenty Ten Music catalog includes songs by The Civil Wars, Ruby Amanfu, k.s. Rhoads and The Daylights.
Peacock, who discovered Abigail Rose, says of the new talent, “Abigail is everything that I look for when choosing to work with an artist: authentic, hard-working, humbly confident, and most of all, ridiculously talented. She represents the absolute best of the young artistry that Nashville is giving birth to.”
The new production and publishing deals were the singer/songwriter/musician’s natural next steps in her career as she builds up her team, and Rose says that working with Peacock has already opened countless doors in songwriting that have allowed her to grow as an artist.
Rose comments, “I’ve never felt so passionate about working with someone before. Our visions are the same for my style of music and where it is going. Within five minutes of our first meeting, it felt like the puzzle pieces fit together perfectly; I knew that Charlie was my musical soul mate.”
A Nashville, Tenn. native, Rose is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and musician. She is already making a name for herself as a performer and songwriter, boasting co-writes with some of the industry’s leading names, including Sam Ashworth, Aaron Barker, Brandy Clark, Corey Crowder, Patrick Davis, Billy Dean, Marty Dodson, Kevin Griffin, Steve Leslie, Gary Nicholson and Will Rambeaux. Rose has an impressive resume of performances and has already opened for Florida Georgia Line, Eli Young Band, Scotty McCreery, Sara Evans, Jake Owen, Josh Kelley, Josh ThompsonBetter Than Ezra, Joe Nichols and Collective Soul.
While her upcoming album is still in the works, Rose has released a five track EP titled See Me Now, which is available for purchase here. She has also released a new video for her original track “Tell All,” which can be viewed on her YouTube page here.
