First Round Balloting Ends Dec. 11
(Nashville, TN – Nov. 18, 2009) There are four weeks left to nominate individuals for the inaugural CRB-Country Aircheck Awards, to be presented Feb. 26, 2010, at the New Faces of Country Music Show® during Country Radio Seminar® 41.
CRS 41 will be held Feb. 24-26, 2010 at the Nashville Convention Center. Advance Rate registration is currently available for $549 through Dec. 18.
About the CRB-Country Aircheck Awards: There are 21 total Radio Awards to be given, broken into four markets: Major (1-25), Large (26-50), Medium (51-100) and Small (101+). Awards for each market recognize outstanding achievement in the Station, General Manager, Program Director, Music Director and Air Personality categories. There will be one Syndicated Personality award presented as well.
There are five Record Label Awards. A Platinum award will be given to a label with an affiliated distribution company, while the Gold award will be given to a label with external distribution. In addition, there will be VP of Promotion, National Promotion Director and Regional Promotion Director awards. Additionally, one Independent Promotion Team/Promoter award will be presented.
A discretionary New Face of Country Professional award will be given to an emerging professional who has made a specific impact in the Country radio or Country music industry in the previous 12 months.
