Free industry gathering celebrates 15 years of showing up for the people behind the show while looking ahead through this year’s theme, EVOLVE
(NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Sept. 23, 2026) For 15 years, the fall ECCHO Live Workshop has shown up for the people behind the show. On Tuesday, Nov. 10, the nonprofit will mark that milestone with the 15th annual ECCHO Live Workshop, moving the event to its new home at Soundcheck at Rock Nashville, located at 3200 Whites Creek Pike in Nashville.
Registration will open Monday, Sept. 28, for the free industry gathering, which brings together hundreds of professionals from across touring, festivals, production, venues, vendors, manufacturing and the broader live events community for a day of education, career development, resources, networking and connection. What began in 2011 as Touring Career Workshop, a single-day event created to answer HR-related questions for people working in live touring, has grown alongside the industry it serves. Today, ECCHO Live has expanded beyond the annual workshop to provide year-round resources addressing mental health, financial wellness, career development and the challenges of building a sustainable life and career in live events.
That evolution provides the foundation for this year’s workshop theme, EVOLVE.
Rather than looking back at the past 15 years alone, the 2026 workshop will use that history as a foundation for looking ahead. As the live events industry continues to change, EVOLVE will explore what comes next for the people who power it and what it takes to build a healthy, sustainable life around a career in live events.
“The live events industry has changed enormously since the first workshop in 2011, and so have the careers, challenges and opportunities of the people who make it happen,” says Chris Lisle, Co-Founder of ECCHO Live. “EVOLVE is about honoring those 15 years while using them as a foundation for what comes next — for ECCHO Live, for our industry and, most importantly, for the people building their lives and careers within it.”
The workshop’s continued growth also brings a change of venue for its 15th year, with the event moving to the larger Soundcheck at Rock Nashville. As part of Nashville’s working live-production community, Soundcheck places the gathering within the same ecosystem as many of the professionals and companies ECCHO Live was created to support, while providing room for the event to continue growing.
