(Nashville, Tenn. – April 23, 2019) Rising singer-songwriter, QUEEVA, premieres her music video for feel-good, young-love tune “How Do You Know,” exclusively through CMT.com today. Watch the video here. The song is also currently available on all music-streaming services and can be found here.
“How Do You Know” captures the feeling of young love and the judgments, trials and tribulations that go along with falling in love at a young age. Captivating the attention of all age groups, young audiences strongly relate while older audiences fondly reminisce of their first love. QUEEVA co-wrote “How Do You Know” alongside hit-songwriting duo Jamie O’Neal and Shaye Smith, who together penned O’Neal’s hits “There Is No Arizona” and “Somebody’s Hero,” as well as Martina McBride’s “How Far.”
As an avid animal lover, the singer-songwriter focused the music video on pet rescues and animal adoption centers, featuring local pet retail shops in Nashville, Happy ReTales and Preppy Pets. A fun twist occurs when the young love portrayed in the video turns out to be admiration for a fluffy golden doodle rather than that of the Abercrombie-esque boy, reminding us all that there is no stronger bond than that of man’s best friend.
QUEEVA already has a list of accomplishments longer than many artists double her age. This 15-year-old powerhouse can’t be stopped as she travels to play music festivals and School performances, she also continues her education as a Freshman, all while racking up accolades like being named one ofNickelodeon’s Fresh Faces, and garnering over one million streams on Spotify and Youtube. Additionally, her current single “Stand Out,” was recently added to Spotify’s Wild Country playlist with the corresponding video added on CMT.COM.
Born in Chicago, IL, QUEEVA was raised with five siblings in a creative Irish clan speaking both Gaelic and English and dividing her time between the US and Ireland. In fact, her name, sometimes spelled Caoimhe, means, “gentle,” “beautiful” or “precious” in that language. Early on, QUEEVA gravitated to Country music’s greatest storyteller-artists who were skilled in illumining their everyday experiences in a song. She then went on to compete in talent contests all over. QUEEVA started to earn a name for herself at a very early age when she landed national TV spots, including an acting role in an episode of“Chicago Fire,” a role in a Build-a-Bear commercial, among others. By age ten, she caught the attention of Jamie O’Neal and under O’Neal’s guidance, QUEEVA found her unique, fresh style as a songwriter and artist, which is reflected in her songs.
