Grayce Rings in 22nd Birthday Last Night with Performance at ASCAP’s In the Row at the Bluebird Cafe
(Nashville, Tenn. – April 19, 2018) – Country music singer/songwriter Ashlyn Grayce recently released her first EP, Somethin’ ‘Bout a Song, which debuted at #4 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Chart and also appeared on the iTunes Bestseller list. The EP is available on Apple Music, Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, GooglePlay and many other digital streaming outlets as well as through her website where physical copies can also be purchased.
Produced by Brent Rader, the collection is an extremely personal project and features six tracks, all written or co-written by Grayce with the intention of taking listeners on a musical journey through her real-life experiences; the songs touch on everything from love to heartache and breakups. The most personal is “601,” a heartwarming reflection about her childhood home, penned by Grayce after learning that the house was to be torn down.
Many have noted that Grayce’s music has a depth well beyond her years and acknowledge the encouraging and positive message she delivers to young listeners; this is extremely important to the young talent, as she takes her potential as a role model seriously, loves children, and wants to make a difference in their lives through the power of her music.
“I have been working on this EP for a while now and am so excited to share it! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it. It is truly a labor of love and reflects who I am and the journey I have been on during the past year. The greatest gift I could hope for is that the lyrics will speak to people of all ages and that they are moved and blessed in some way by each of my songs,”commented Grayce.
The six-song release features collaborations from some of Nashville’s finest songwriters including Kalie Shorr, Daniel Kleindienst, Alex Dooley, Brent Mandell, Troy Castellano, Dave & Julia Carlson (Wild Life Crush) and Evan Thompson. It also showcases her uniquely transparent voice influenced by the likes of Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Hillary Scott and Colbie Caillat.
