Eric Beggs and Stan Marczewski Join Label Promotion Staff
(Nashville, Tenn. – Sept 3, 2013) Streamsound Records has announced the addition of Eric Beggs and Stan Marczewski to the label’s promotion team. Beggs and Marczewski start their positions immediately.
Streamsound President, Mike Culotta says of the new hirings, “The label and I are very excited about these two well-respected go-getters joining our team. I’ve been impressed by their work for quite some time now and I know they will fit in and represent our team perfectly.”
Eric Beggs has spent over 20 years in the record industry working for labels such as Capitol Nashville, Epic Nashville, ShowDog Records, CBS Records, Liberty Records and Patriot Records. During his time at Capitol, Beggs helped build the careers of Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins and many others. He has also worked with superstar acts, such as Toby Keith, Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Phil Vassar and more.
Stan Marczewski’s experience encompasses multiple aspects of the music industry. After starting as an intern in the Sony Music Promotion Department, he rose to Promotion Coordinator. Sr. Management at Sony recognized his potential and promoted him to work with managing licensing, sports marketing and sponsorships for the label group’s four imprints. Marczewski also has a background in management, working with RLM/Mission Management on such acts as Little Big Town and Marty Stuart, among others.
Most recently, Beggs and Marczewski worked at Rodeowave Entertainment, representing Phil Vassar.
Streamsound Records was launched in 2012 by Grammy award-winning producer, Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Faith Hill) and Jim Wilkes. Artists on the roster include Dakota Bradley, Jaida Dreyer and Austin Webb. Streamsound principals are Tim McHugh and Jim Wilkes (label co-chairs), Byron Gallimore (CEO), and Steve Richardson (COO). Mike Culotta is label President and additional regional representatives are Theresa Ford, Steve Pleshe and Tyler Waugh.
