Taylor Austin Dye’s “Sick of Me” Music Video: A Raw Look at Self-Reflection

Taylor Austin Dye

(Nashville, TN – November 19, 2024) Taylor Austin Dye has released the music video for “Sick of Me,” the title track from her sophomore album. The video, which premiered exclusively with Raised Rowdy here, is now available to watch here.

The video delves deep into the raw emotions of self-doubt and internal struggle, themes that define both the song and the album. The storyline opens with Taylor as a hospital patient, repeating the haunting phrase, “I’m sick of me,” as doctors attempt to diagnose her turmoil. As the tension builds, Taylor fights back, escaping the confines of her hospital room and driving away as flashing red and blue lights pursue her. In a climactic moment, she sits outside with the police lights still swirling around her, her head lowered in surrender.

The track was written by Taylor Austin Dye, Natalia Lipsitz, and Jamie Collazo, and the video was directed by Randy Shaffer and Lex Lipsitz and edited by Shaffer. Together, they bring the song’s raw vulnerability to life through stunning visuals and gripping storytelling.

The track is the anchor of Taylor’s second album, Sick of Me, released on November 15, 2024. The deeply personal 11-track record has been praised for its exploration of growth, resilience, and the pursuit of self-acceptance, further solidifying Taylor’s place as a standout in the country genre.
