(Nashville, Tenn. – Jan. 5, 2016) – The Cains are pulling out all the stops in their haunting, hard-edged new single, “Knock Knock.” Featuring angst-filled vocals with a country-rock twist, while also showcasing The Cains’ signature sibling harmonies, “Knock Knock” is destined to catch the ears of music fans all over.

Written by Jaida Dreyer, Stephony Smith and Dave Thompson, “Knock Knock” is the latest single off the group’s self-titled EP, The Cains, which was released this past summer on July 21, 2015. The EP was produced and mixed by Daniel Agee. The five-track EP is available on iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers.
Madison Cain commented about the single saying, “’Knock Knock’ is the only song on the EP that we didn’t write, but as soon as we heard it, we knew we needed to record it. We heard it once and couldn’t stop singing it. We hope the song will have the same effect on our listeners.”
In addition to the new single, The Cains have recently added some impressive international performances to their list of accomplishments. Opening for Sasha McVeigh’s successful I Stand Alone U.K. Tour, The Cains have come back with scores of dedicated new fans anxious to hear more music. The two sisters and brother from Hartselle, Ala. have shared a lot over the years, but their passion for music is what has brought them together as The Cains, a Country band with unique harmonies and a variety of influences.
